BLACKOUT: The Minecraft Movie
Project Overview
This movie project is inspired by Frictional Games, Amnesia: The Dark Descent. So I decided on creating this Minecraft Movie that is based on that horror game, with newer stories with brand new characters and enemies.
If you folks want to voice in this movie? Please do, and after you record your lines, you must send the audio lines through each scene to me on Gmail.
I'm Looking For
Voice actors who can convey realistic performances.
For some characters, the ability/willingness to emote and scream is absolutely mandatory.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
North American accents (a few characters are exempt)
Semi or fully acoustically treated recording environment (little-to-no echo, background noise, etc)
High-quality USB microphone (extremely important)
No audio defects (plosives, clipping, etc.)
AUDITION GUIDELINES:
Normalize audio to -3db
Audio files must be exported in .mp3 format (CCC harshly reduces the sound quality of .wav files)

William is a father and husband, his children died from a virus. He met a man named, Derrick who can "bring the dead back to life." He travels towards an abandoned castle that was used to belong by a king but died inside with a huge battle and years later, Derrick owns it with his servants. Times go by with William helping with Derrick by creating a ritual by killing prisoners and civilians all for using their souls combining inside an orb which creates energy for Derrick to use not for helping William to bring the dead back to life, but rather extinct the whole world with newer species. William erase half of his memories and decided to go down to the chambers and find Derrick and stop the horrors.
How… How long have I been out?
I must not give up… I need to stay alive… I need to stop him… I need something that can help me… my name is… is… I… I am… William.
George is an old friend to William, through flashbacks with him taking George to the location where Derrick wants William to go. George stays in the village with Anna who is William's wife, he decided to go back to find William but found the castle where William is destroyed.
Sorry to bother you, Anna. Knowing we have all been through this before.
I’ll do what I can to bring him home. I promised.
Anna is a wife to William. After the children were dead, she's been a sad and worried character who doesn't want to lose William too. But with William gone that he's planning on bringing their children back from the dead, she wants George to go find him. In the end, she finds a note from William which is his last words.
It’s he alright? Did he come back?
Oh… oh god… please bring him back, who knows how dangerous he’s been in the castle.
Each flashback reveals the origins of the monsters in this movie, where one of the prisoners becomes a monster.
