Project Overview
Welcome all! I'm Maygrace, a growing channel on Youtube who writes English translyrics to anime/Vocaloid/etc songs and sings them! These are a couple of songs that require a confident partner for me to sing a duet with. I've already finished the lyrics for both, which you can view in the Google Docs below. I like to have fun when I work on these kinds of projects, so I'm not pushy with deadlines. But that being said... I'd rather not have to wait a whole year before a project is completed... So /some/ dedication would be greatly appreciated :P
I'll just throw in a few rules so everyone knows how this works:
-Whether you will be picked for Miku or Luka's role will depend on how your voice sounds compared to mine.
But feel free to suggest in your audition whether you think you'd suit Miku or Luka.
-If you want to sing both Miku and Luka's parts in your audition, or just pick the one that you prefer, I don't mind~
-Your audition may be acapella OR with the backing track (I'll stick a link below to the youtube videos that you can convert to mp3. for you to sing along with) YOU ONLY NEED TO SING THE FIRST VERSE AND CHORUS OF THE SONG (as shown in the demo video provided)
-PLEASE SING THE ENGLISH LYRICS PROVIDED! Singing in Japanese is great and all, but I need to hear that you can sing it in English pretty please.
-I can mix and edit my own vocals, but feel free to show off what you can do in your audition. If mixing isn't your thing, don't worry because I'll be able to the work for you if you get cast~
-I use a Blue Yeti USB Mic, but I'm not too strict when it comes to what mic you use. I'll just ask that it's not a mic that's built into your computer, because the quality of those mics compared to mine will be a little too noticable.
-Akatsuki Arrival and Magnet will be two different projects, but you may be cast for BOTH roles if you choose to audition for both. Working with two different singers would be fun as well, but if you really stand out then I might consider giving you a role in both songs!
-The original roles call for girls, but genderbend is great, so male singers ARE welcome!
