Project Overview
Violent Delights is a prequel to an upcoming book series (The Hols Chronicles) It follows two ex assassins as they navigate life after their world has been turned upside down. It is an urban fantasy podcast, filled with magic, mystery, and monsters. Please include name, pronouns, and a way to contact you in your audition! (Discord or email preferable but not necessary!)

Kira is a no-nonsense former child prodigy assassin, known for her dry wit and deadpan comebacks. She can come off as very mean, but underneath it all has a kind heart and good intentions (Well, most of the time.) In a will they/won't they relationship with her...friend? Fuckbuddy? Worst enemy? It's a little hard to define.
This is a lead role with a lot of lines, present in every episode.

"It's a very basic exit strategy, Rio. If you could figure it out, I know for a fact she could."
"I'm not telling you where I am, or what I'm doing, or even really who this is, 'cause- if you're smart you'll have ditched this phone by now. But, knowing you, you're...not always smart. You've always been the most sentimental of all of us. If you do hear this, I'm safe, relatively. Rio and I are both...out looking for you. So, just, uh...keep making your trail difficult. We'll get there eventually, but we don't need somebody who's not us finding you. Um... (She sighs heavily) Research is...different, without you. I have to take all my own notes. It's fucking annoying. God, I sound like Rio...It's just, your handwriting is very pretty. And mine is...less so. (It's painful for her to admit any shortcoming of hers out loud) Anyway. You know how to find us. I'm doing the stupid thing and not getting rid of my old phones. Not nearly as quickly, anyway. Just, uh...don't stay missing for too long, all right? You know what we do to people who go AWOL."

Ellie is soft spoken and unassuming by choice, always doing her best to blend in and not attract attention. She's not a natural at assassination and violence like Kira, but her hard work and studious nature pays off. She notices everything.

(Pretending to be a lost, clueless tourist) "It's just that I've always wanted to see it, you know? I'm scared of heights, but, you know, it's one of those things you have to do in New York City! And I was mostly okay at the statue of liberty, so I think I'll be okay. Plus, you know, I don't have to climb any stairs there!"
Small role. An unfortunate victim of circumstance. In the hospital with various injuries, grieving and in pain.

"I don't even remember now what it started as. But, he- he got angry, and I got angry, and I might have thrown something? And then he just...he changed. It was like he didn't see me anymore."
"Well. You find him...try to send him back to me in one piece. I guess it's fine if it's more."
Small role. A friend. Known by some as "Danny the dick wizard."
