Ace Attorney Fandubs

Ace Attorney Fandubs

Project Overview

A mini fandub series, dubbing all the credits scenes from the Ace Attorney games.

Yes this might sound like a funny project to do, but the credits sequences of the Ace Attorney games have many of the many characters from each game speaking about...things they are doing now and reflecting on the game itself (trying not to give anything away!)

The majority of the characters have already been cast off site, but for now we have a few still to cast!

Multi-casting is allowed, if you are cast I will be in contact with you with further instructions!

The games that we will be using are;

-Ace Attorney

-Ace Attroeny: Justice for All

-Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations

-Apollo Justice

-Dual Destines

A GERMAN ACCENT IS A MUST!

Voice Type - Medium pitch, arrogant, confident, strong willed, German accent

Franziska von Karma in court was very competitive, unrelenting, and cold, going to extreme lengths to get a guilty verdict. She viewed trials and investigations as competitions, and considered defense attorneys her enemies. This was due to her belief that being a "genius" prosecutor with a perfect record was the only option that she had, although she knew that she was not really capable of the genius her father had displayed. In her earlier years, she even had a tendency to suck up and show off to those in authority.

  • "Mr. Phoenix Wright. I grow tired of the foolish foolery of the foolish fools of this foolish country..."

  • "I gave up a promising career in Germany and came to this country for one sole reason. Revenge."

  • "You have no chance. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I'm not losing this case! Why, you ask? Because it is not in the nature of a Von Karma to lose at anything!!"

Voice Type 1 - Soft and shy, Russian accent

Voice Type 2 - Confident and sassy, Texas accent

In court, while initially keeping up her "timid Russian waitress" persona, Orly testified about the poker game and claimed that Wright had hit Smith with a grape juice bottle. Wright's lawyer, Apollo Justice, found a series of holes in the fake waitress's testimony, until she finally buckled under Justice's tactics and cast off her waitress costume to reveal her true clothing and self as "Quick-Fingers" Orly. Justice was also able to notice Orly subconsciously scratching the back of her neck, revealing who the real user and victim of the grape juice bottle were. Justice's mentor Kristoph Gavin then tried to convince Justice to implicate Orly as the killer, but Justice found that conclusion contradictory, and Wright began to suggest that a fourth person, the real killer, had been in the room. This led to Gavin being implicated as the killer.

  • "[Voice 1] Hello, welcome to the Borscht Bowl Club, I am the waitress, Olga. Come in and take a seat."

  • "[Voice 2] Lemme try that again...name's Olga Orly, I'm a pro dealer."

  • "[Voice 3] Wh-What are you tryin' say? You callin' me a liar!"

Role assigned to: Christina Lynn 🌱🌸🐿️

Voice Type - Medium pitch, full of energy

Athena has strong emotions and a powerful drive to win, which can sometimes cause her to be reckless. Widget occasionally picks up on her emotions and blurts out what she's really thinking, much to her chagrin. She likes orange juice after a good workout and gratuitously peppers her speech with French, German, Spanish and Italian, languages that she apparently picked up while studying in Europe. Athena also seems to have the habits of getting lost easily and falling asleep just about anywhere. In court, she uses Widget's holographic capabilities extensively; whereas her co-workers bring hard copies of notes and evidence to read and reference, Athena prefers to store and retrieve information digitally via Widget.

  • "OBJECTION! HOLD IT! TAKE THAT!

  • "I've always wanted to bring analytical psychology into the courtroom. The power of psychology will bring a breath of fresh air to the legal system."

  • "Hey, buddy, for your information I am the lawyer assigned for this case! So let us in to investigate!

Role assigned to: Millie

Voice 1 - A sweet, girly, high pitch voice

Voice 2 - A deeper, full on raspy, tomboyish/little boy's voice

In her male persona, Newman appeared to be extremely hot-headed and frequently expressed himself by shouting and/or breaking one of the ceramics pieces he had made. He was often fixated on how "manly" he appeared to others, as well as the sincerity of the friendship between Woods, O’Conner, and himself. Via the Mood Matrix, Cykes would prove that Newman's powerful anger was directed at the brace she wore, which Newman saw as a burden preventing her from reconciling with her female identity and wants.

  • [Voice 1]

I know I should stop you, but some part of me really wants to see how this plays out.

  • [Voice 2]

Athena! Measurements are for wimps! I'm gonna drop both of 'em in a big pool of plaster! YEAAAAAAH!

  • [Voice 1] Ok! Let's start the investigation then!

[Voice 2] Come on, people! Let's GOOOOO!

Role assigned to: ProvidenceMG

Voice Type - Medium pitch, geeky

Scuttlebutt is a secretive and inherently suspicious person, who is also socially maladjusted and solitary. She used to run the school newspaper entirely by herself, and took great pride in her articles, although most of them are nothing but gossip and slander. She takes Aristotle Means' teachings to heart, and believes as he does that the end justifies the means. In her case, she uses any means at her disposal to find information for her articles stories, including leaving tape recorders all over the school. This was also seen in the script she submitted for the mock trial, which included allowances for the participants to bribe the judges and bring in fabricated evidence; she considered this a far more relevant script than Woods' in that it reflected the current "dark age of the law".

  • "This disguise is how I get my scoops! Losers like you wouldn't understand!"

  • "My cardbox has served me well in my line of work!"

  • "My camera, notebook and pencil are the only weapons I carry in this box! But I use them for a different sort of crime heh heh heh."

Role assigned to: Soulia Sora

Voice Type - High to medium pitch, full of energy

Kay Faraday is energetic, curious, and cheeky. While making observations about crime scenes, she often points out how valuable some of the objects are, and jokes about stealing several of them, much to Edgeworth's distress. However, she makes it clear that the only thing she is really looking to "steal" is the truth. She idolizes her father, Byrne Faraday, and seeks to become a "Hero of Justice" like him, which manifests in her sheer determination. She strives for a world in which the court system is sufficient to deal with all criminals, thereby making the Yatagarasu obsolete.

  • Even in the depths of night, when no other bird dares to take flight, one alone soars to shine the light of righteousness on the world's blight!

  • I told you to stop being mean to Gummy!!!

  • I am the Great Thief, Yatagarasu! Buuuuut...I haven't actually stolen anything yet...haha...
