Uni Project: animated show pitch actors needed
Project Overview
Hello! I'm a student of animation who's currently working on an animated series pitch assignment. For the pitch my group is due to present a one minute complete animated segment to advertise the potential show.
A little about the project: it is an adaptation of the novel Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, the novel is being adapted as a satirical office sitcom. The setting is an unspecified city of the near future, capitalism runs rampant and people rely on their miniscule income for any chance of survival. Most of the action takes place in the office building of a fictional company that uses morally gray means to earn profit in many unspecified fields.
My tutors have stressed the importance of good audio quality so if you have a home recording set up please reach out. I can't really afford to pay anyone, but if we upload the final version to youtube will of course offer full credit and links to your social media, a small fee can be negotiated.
I am on Central European Time, available between 8:00-23:00 for auditions or interview.
I need the audio by Friday, the 27th of November.

John Yossarian is a 20-something salary-man who hates his position in life and is desperate to get out of his office environment. It is a miracle that he hasn't gotten fired yet. He internalizes his anger and unhappiness and is intensely paranoid about the goals of the company he works for. What I am looking for is a masculine voice that can pass for early 20's, somebody that mildly sounds like Jim Halpert or Ben Wyatt but more defeated.
They're trying to kill me, I'm telling you! These hours? Insane.
What do you mean? You have no protocol for when someone wants to quit?
That's one hell of a catch, that catch 22.
Doctor Daneeka is a middle aged woman working in HR at the same company, she's made peace with her workplace situation and is much more relaxed. She does her job in the correct bureaucratic way while being extremely honest about how most of the paperwork is pointless and unnecessarily complicated. For Daneeka I am looking for a feminine voice that can pass for middle-aged, preferably something a little deeper. I imagine she can sound like Princess Nokia (https://youtu.be/025V7O6vSsI?t=71).
Hm, I don't think I can do that.
You simply can't quit a job without filling out the necessary forms, can you? That's why nobody has ever quit. It's a paradox, a catch 22.
All of this is just pointless bureaucracy, just do it.
