UTRY's version of Chara presents them as sarcastic, pessimistic, uncaring, and self-proclaimed to be "mature." Sometimes they begin to cross into slightly "sinister" territory. Similar to their canon counterpart, they speak rather properly, and don't often pull their verbal punches. While they usually are indifferent to the emotions of others, there are a few times where they do show a bit of concern and sympathy. Though they will deny it.
I've been debating whether or not they will have an accent of any kind. I do imagine that Toriel has a bit of a British accent, but Asgore does not, nor does Asriel. I think that it would be neat if Chara were to pick up on Toriel's accent to balance it out between the four of them, but there is a moment where Chara makes fun of Clover's accent, so I'm not entirely sure if it would work as well if Chara had their own faux accent. I encourage you to maybe try takes with an without the accent, just to see how it sounds.
Like all UTDR main characters, Chara and Clover have no official gender and simply use they/them pronouns, so I imagine their voices wouldn't sound either way. That being said, because they are young I would prefer a more higher pitched voice. Feminine voices would probably be preferred here. I imagine due to their personalities, Chara's voice would be a bit lower, and more monotone in comparison to Clover, who would sound more passionate and encouraging.

[Informing] You should keep moving. // Someone up ahead should heal you...
[Initially teasing, then turning dark] It would be hysterical to see you scream at nothingness for hours... // Waiting for somebody, anybody to respond...
[In thought, but trying to mask it] I suppose some things never change....
The sixth fallen child, Clover is a kind-hearted, adventurous kid in a cowboy outfit, with a matching southern accent. Whether the accent is real is never specified. They're friendly, optimisitc, and encouraging. They hint towards a troubled past that's never looked into, but vaguely implied when faced with topics related to family and being cared for.
They are frequently described by Chara as loud, childish, and annoying. And the two frequently banter with each other. There are subtle implications that Clover might be a bit intimidated by Chara, especially in the beginning, but over time they begin to become more comfortable around them.
They are much more emotional in comparison to Chara (at least, in terms of expression), there are moments where they yell, laugh, cry, and other extremes like that. If you don't feel comfortable or capable of doing and recording that stuff, please refrain from auditioning.

[Greeting the player] Oh! Howdy! No, you're not insane, we're just incorporeal. // You were out for quite a while. You alright?
[In thought and reflection, and then in denial] Flowey...? // Was that really Flowey? // He wouldn't do some like THAT.
[Questioning, about to cry in the last line, they feel regretful but don't know why] ...Why? // ...Why is this all so... // ...So familiar to me...?
If you know any specific minor enemies in the Ruins that you may want to do, feel free to audition or post a demo reel here!
NOTE: I have not yet decided if I will include the extra interaction footage in the final product, so it's possible that nobody will be casted for this at all.
