Welcome dearies to the Official Undertale Play Auditions! This is your chance to give life to such boring lines and become part of Toby's approved play.
Please note that some of these lines are changed from the original game for the fact that this project requires the lines to make sense and be appealing on a stage setting. If lines are different that you recognize, I did not make a mistake. This was fully intentional. Now onto the rules~ Ahuhuhu~
I am a very lenient person. I will never ask more than what you guys are able to give.
-Please make sure I can hear your audio. You do not have to have quality recording material, but there are free programs to reduce static and noise that I would prefer you to use if I can't understand. Audacity is what I use.
-If you want to improvise, feel free to do so, but make sure that those lines make sense on a stage. If you wouldn't say that in front of an audience, refrain from doing so.
-You may audition for as many characters as you like.
Good news for you guys. ^^ No, I don't quite have a new computer since this is temporary, but I do have the capability to work on the script again! And this also means that lines will be out VERY SOON! <3 Look forward to it~
With the unexpected mess with my computer breaking today, it seems that line distribution shall be slightly delayed. I will gladly announce the lines as I get my computer repaired, so have some patience ^^; Thanks
Yeah, I should have said something before, but I took a brief little break since I had been having a bit of a writer's block in trying to piece together all the lines for the script. Please just be assured that you guys will be receiving lines very soon ^^ And to give you guys some proof, expect the lines for the Ruins section to be out very shortly! The script will be divided into Acts depending on their length and area in the game. Once Toriel, the Narrator(s), Frisk, Chara, and Nabstablook have been casted for the play, I shall be putting up lines for the actors. And as for each Act, the areas will be divided as follows:
The Ruins
Snowdin
Waterfall
Hotland
Core
These should be able to keep the length in order. Also, if you are interested in going that extra mile to help out with the play, I could always use an audio editor, script editor, co-supervisor, and other people, since I am mainly only one person working on this besides my assistant director.
