UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT - Gacha VA Musical Series - Supporting Characters & Animators
Project Overview
"Under The Spotlight" - A mini series on Gacha Life 2 with three seasons. A boy named Tristan Wyile who was diagnosed with Autism just recently moved from Florida to Tennessee, and he is now about ready to experience a brand new school with brand new people. He has a passion for drama acts and musicals, but has a very bad case of stage fright, so he doesn't participate in them, but loves watching them. On his first day, he stumbles upon a girl named Sarah Delaney, class president elect student in the cafeteria, and the two quickly bound in a friendship. Little did Tristan knew, that the same girl also had the same passion as him, and he was going to experience being on stage for the first time in his life.
Before auditioning you need to follow these guidelines:
Must have a high quality microphone with no background feedback.
This project is indeed +13 as it does include sensitive topics that may not be suitable for younger viewers. (TW: Abuse, Self Hatred, Mental Health and bit of Profanity.)
No experience is needed for a voice actor, but just be aware that I will review roles based on how I approve it, so you could be either shortlisted or dismissed before the deadline.
If auditioning for animator, you need to have experience on that and I will choose the best one from each animator role.

David Lennon is a supporting character. He is also sincere but articulate to those who are close. But he gets slightly discouraged and defensive to people who are not, but he does at least give people a chance to impress him when it comes to theater work.

I do have to admit about one thing. You do really have the confidence in you, which in all honestly you definitely are the most talented compared to everyone here. And begrudgingly we could very well use you for this show.
(tempted) Just one tip of advice though. If people like you tried to ruin this opportunity for me and for everyone. Then you’re gonna have to deal with my personal justice.
(frustrated, but softening) It’s not just about nerves. You’ve got to focus more. We’re counting on you to not mess up the scene.
Tobias Bryant is one of the only members who didn't participate in every show because of his management job at nights. He is energetic and doesn't get himself into any type of trouble. He also feels very appreciated towards everyone who he has a positive relationship with.

I have to honest, if I had to choose between being stuck in Algebra or being stuck in this room, I would obviously choose to live here for all I want, better than try to figure out how to multiply polynomials.
I'm not exactly the most professional person in the group, but it is obviously nice to meet new people and train them to become successful performers. It truly is my great honor to help and serve these group members with my heart, and encouraged them every week throughout all of my time here.
Josh Lincoln is the youngest member of Tim's group. He is a little bit clumsy but it still very athletic and he is the basketball team.
Will have more lines in future. Will become a supporting character.

Man, did you see that last shot I made? Swish! I’m telling you, I’m on fire lately. Coach even said I might start next game.
You know Tristian, that really takes some skill to have the guts like that, you're definitely lucky that you got out of there with you're face still intact.
Colton Carson is a minor character who just recently transferred from another school. Colton is also pretty cocky, arrogant, and can also be pretty brash when he gets pretty upset, but is still pretty chill whenever he is with his group.

History is such a drag, I legit can't stand this new teacher. He’s got this dry, serious tone. It’s like he’s reading from a textbook, and he’s super strict about everything.
I honestly don't know if I can trust you're somewhat friends Tristian, I feel extremely ill at ease about that one kid in the group, which honestly makes me uncomfortable. (Refering to David)
Moses Cohen is a very hard working student who is also in the football program as a running back. Moses is also a bit overconfident, and he is also a try hard whenever it comes to impressing Jennifer as he is very pretentious whenever it comes with girls.
Will be a supporting character in the future.

Come on, you have to admit that what I did was pretty sick don't you think? Jennifer, come on you can't say that was very impressive.
UGH, SERIOUSLY DUDE?!?! You know I would obviously turn down on that.
Wow, you only joined the school play because some girl offered you to do it? Damn Tristan. That takes courage.
Mr. Hamlin is an administrator for Bright Sparks High School. His main priority is to keep the students in the school as safe as possible, and wants everyone to follow the safety rules and regulations so that way they can remain as students of the school.

Voice Example: Jack - Rise of the Guardians
I’m Mr. Hamlin, I’m one of the administrators here in Bright Sparks, usually I’m walking around in the hallways keeping an eye on students, making sure that every student is respectful towards others.
Listen, at least you know that fighting can lead you into a lot of trouble, but the only things that matters is that you were defending yourself, but next time just let this be a reminder that much more repercussions will come if this happens again.
Coach James is a coaching teacher in Bright Sparks. He is also the coach of both basketball and football teams. He is very supportive, knowledgeable, and has a very cheery voice.

Hey man, it’s okay to be shy, heading into a new school can be stressful and especially coming in mid semester can be challenging, most students have been in that situation before, but you’ll get used to this school, I know it.
Alright guys find a spot please and try to calm it down so that way we can get things done quick and over with alright?
HEY! Y'all better leave that kid alone. We all should act like a team here, that type of behavior is not okay here.
Mr. Caylor is the theater director and a teacher at Bright Sparks. He is the director of the upcoming school play that Tristan auditions for. He is kind, optimistic, and encouraging to his students.

You’d be amazed how many times I’ve seen students clash, people who just don’t click at first. Sometimes it’s nerves, sometimes it’s pride, sometimes it’s just… fear of being misunderstood. (To Tristan)

(random student) (surprised) Damn did you see how that bully threw a sandwich at that kid? Honestly, I can't help but feel sorry for him.
(teacher) (annoyed) You are aware about what period this is right? If I continue to hear you I will have to separate the three of you.
(random civilian) (amazed) Wow, that kid was amazing, I think having her in charge as student president it'll defintely be helpful for the school.
