Ultra Danganronpa: World of Talent
Project Overview
Hello, this is a casting call for a Danganronpa fan project called World of Talent! This fangame focuses heavily on the themes of talent vs skill that are prevalent throughout the games, as well as expanding upon the game's criticism of the education system.
We're casting voices for many characters, and while I don't have the money to be paying anyone given that you can't charge money for fangames, I do hope some will be interested in helping out. All roles will be in the English language, though accent will vary depending on the character. The only requirement is to have a clear microphone or other way of editing your audio for it to sound crisp and without background noise. Please don't add any special effects to your lines. If it's needed it'll be done by the audio designer.
The current deadline for casting is November 1st, although I'm willing to push this back if someone can't make that deadline.
We communicate nearly exclusively through Discord. If you don't often use it, then you might not get updates on certain things, so it's required to have this if you want a role.
- You may audition for multiple characters, even characters you don’t think you have the vocal range for. Our specifications are only suggestions.
- You will have to get a feel for your character while reading through the script, so you know which lines you need to record for the non-trial/cutscene bits.
- Optionally, you can throw in a bit of lines you think the character might say. One or two DR style “It appears,” or just some nervous laughter gives us a better idea of how you interpret your character.
- Read BOTH Lines provided for the character(s) you want to audition for.
