U-2 secondary call. Urgent! (Project is starting!) (VIDEO EDITOR NEEDED)

Project Overview

Alright! Hi!

So, to hop right to it, this is a secondary call to get some characters (And VERY important roles) past what what iv'e already cast for the series, as i'd prefer to get people cast for stuff before hand so we don't have to wait to get people casted between chapters.

General Information
U-2 is a comic in which iv'e been building for the past four years now, coming up on five in about a month as of the time this casting call is put up. Its going to be an anime-esk style comic (Full on with Powers, usual anime stuff and the whole thing with saying a move when its used) taking place in a dystopian future. The actual story itself is set to be pretty serious and dark in some places (As many characters during the series are going to die, and the backstories for most are pretty dark), though jokes, gags and joke characters (Such as the joke villain "Captain Shoelace") are spread around to counter such to make it suitable for a lot of audiences.

Whats going on
The project itself is already in motion, and we have everyone we need (excluding an artist and an editor) for the first chapter. Characters here are for later pieces of the story, some even ranging from the second chapter to the second season (Which for now, I can only hope will happen.).
More characters are going to be added to the list as time goes on. Not everyone has an image for now, also. I don't have drawings and/or sketches available for everyone.

All the other stuff you have to know
This project is going to take place 99% through DISCORD. I will be willing to work through CCC if you can't get it to work, but I do not have a Skype, so that just wont do. (The discord link is https://discord.gg/tKQyCKd , so feel free to join if you have further questions.)

As for now, the project does not pay. Eventually, though, if this comic gets popular enough, i'll sell merchandise, and with the money from that I will be paying everyone who takes part in this project.

Comic Artist (Very important!)

OK! So, this is probably the most important role I need right now. I myself can do the art for this, though I have troubles with things like perspective or hands and whatnot. Getting an artist willing to take the drafts that I put up is what I need, and I need it pretty badly. If I cant get an artist, I'll do the art myself, though i'm worried that this, as an original comic, wont do well without art to match the rest of the content.
Feel free to contact me on discord or through DM's here on CCC to send me an example of your work if you would like to help out.

OK! This is also pretty darn important.  I was going to do this job myself, but for whatever reason the program I use got corrupted, so I need an Editor who can make put the voice lines to the comic itself, as this will be going on YouTube (so the audio is pretty important).

This is pretty important. The dialogue of this whole thing is set up to a basic degree, though how it will play out and what exactly will be said needs to be flushed out. Help would be super great!

Charles Von "Perfect"

Character:
Charles Von "perfect" is a pretty big character in the series, kind of acting like the ideal hero, as he stands at the number one spot for best and strongest hero alive. (His role is comparable to that of All-might from "My Hero Academia"). He doesn't necessarily do much in the main story, though he has his effects on the way things play out and he shows up quite a decent amount of times.

Voice:
I am looking for a very deep voice with a medium to strong accent (Any accent of your choosing, as his accent is not necessarily set.). The pitch of the voice, being low, is the most important part of this. If you cannot manage the accent, it is not necessary. Bonus points if you add one in, though.

Extra note: If you can sing, note such! Von Perfect has a theme song of his own that he sings, so if you can sing with the voice your doing note it!

  • *Hearty laughter* As my title Puts fourth, I am, indeed, PERFECT!

  • Do you not see? I don't do what I do for MONEY or for (Mockingly) "Justice". I do it to show just how useless a being with as much power as yourself is against MY power!

  • Its not as if they could turn me down! I am the most powerful man on this PLANET!

Neil Harridson, News Anchor

Character:
Neil Harridson is a joke character. He's the number one News Anchor in the world, and he can usually be found chasing around Von Perfect (The character above) or people who are rising in popularity. He's nothing super special besides that he has an ongoing joke where he shows up at nonsensical or random times.

Voice:
Simple as this: I'm looking for a voice as close as you can manage to that of Hugo Vasquez from The Telltale borderlands series (Voiced by Patrick Warburton)
Heres a link to a video where this voice is well exampled https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oMAqXdCeD0

  • (Just as a side note to avoid confusion, this is what he says every time he finds something to talk about, as he is a news anchor)
Stop the boat! Its time to drop the anchor!

  • Ah, don't worry about it. Besides, the cameras on you, not me. I mean, it is on me, but the focus is you.

  • Inconvenient or not, what matters is that i'm here and I have questions.

"The Man"

Character:
"The Man" is the primary antagonist of the series, acting as villain for the series until characters like Grynn or Arc are introduced later. He's built to be as intimidating as possible without giving him a ridiculous design. He reigns as the tyrant leader of "Dystopia", a supercity that holds an entire third of the whole planet.

Voice:
A deep voice is the basis of this. Besides that, all you have to do is do your best to sound intimidating without shouting.

  • Its all falling into place. Every hero in this city has one thing to learn. *I* and I ALONE rule this city, and if they want to come and try and stop me... *Do an evil chuckle* Let them try.

  • Hmph. All this effort to get here, and you cant do any better than this?

  • Dystopia is a city I built from the ground up. I couldn't care less what the world thinks of my work. What matters... Is progress.

Orchestra

Role assigned to: FlaminFogelman

Character:
Orchestra is a well known villain, as he is the #6 most dangerous villain alive. Also known as "The Conductor of Chaos", They don't come into play till much later in the story, though they show up during one early scene near the beginning. For now, they aren't too important. Later on, though, they play a very big role.

Voice:
The tone doesn't matter as long as you don't make it high pitched. What matters most is that you sound like your announcing everything you say. Orchestra has a lot of energy.

  • This, my friend... This is true chaos. Not some petty panic caused by the shock of a sudden, flashy event, no, no no no... this is much more refined.

  • I've orchestrated the whole thing. Even the so called heroes have played their parts in my symphony. Each and every note came into place one after the other, each person unknowingly playing their instruments to complete my song.

  • *start with a low chuckle, and work your way into a laugh.* Heroes? Villains? Therese no difference. Each has their own set of goals and their own set of standards on how to achieve them. How we view villains and heroes is the only thing that pushes them apart.

The Rainbow man

Role assigned to: smittysmash

Character:
The rainbow man is a cosmic entity that embodies randomness. He's a salesmen, an he ignores the rules of gods interfering with mortals. He does his own thing, and basically exists to be a meta plot driver who makes jokes for the audience.

Voice:
Be. VERY. Energetic.

  • Hah! That was really funny, and also really dumb. I like it. I love it. I like-love-enjoy and appreciate it with a hint of pepper.

  • Literally no. Just... A big ol' bag of nip noppity nope begone with all of that.

  • Do I sell it? DO I SELL IT? I sell E V E R Y T H I N G. Name it, and I have ten! It all comes down to the price.

Showdown

Role assigned to: Mac

Character:
Showdown is the second most dangerous Villain alive. He doesn't have any impact on the story until the end of the first season. He hosts a lot of powers, most notably including deathwatch. They are heavily shrouded in mystery, and are mostly known for their code of honor and position on the Sinister Six, a group of Villains.

Voice:
Showdowns voice is raspy. If you can make your voice rough as well, you get bonus points.

  • I said one on one, did I not? The death of your comrades could have been avoided. All you needed to do was follow my rules.

  • On this planet, there is no place for weakness. I am not, however, saying that you are weak, but simply that you aren't strong enough.

  • There are no second chances. You came out the loser of our clash... and that means you die.

T'tegeth

Role assigned to: Mac

Character:
T'tegeth is the first villain in the series. He, Along Y'tegeth, has a pretty introductory role to make sure that viwers understand how the universe this comic works on... well, works. His power is to take and or steal the power of someone he copies.

Voice:
Mid-high pitched voice. Extra points for the rougher you can make it.

  • In case you haven't figured it out, you no longer have your power!

  • I'm a cut above the copycats of the world!

  • *This character laughs a lot. Pull off the craziest laugh you can.*
