Project Overview

In a dystopian future where the city of Fridway prioritizes technology over the lives of its citizens, people have become restless and troublesome.

One mechanicalized citizen is on the run from city patrol, or "Crawlers", having quite the criminal record to his ID in their registration database.

Yet other neighboring citizens go so far as to call the old brain-scanned machine a hero.

Turn of the Leaf (TOTL) is a senior VFX thesis film, currently in production at the Savannah College of Art and Design. It has a 4-5 minute length, featuring CGI and live action integration with a utilization of motion capture and 3D animation. TOTL is a nonprofit student project, due to be completed in June of 2025. If a chaotic dystopian city festered with robotic folks entices you, then hop on board!

  • Two New VA Roles Now Open!

    Hey TOTeLs, I wanted to announce that I have opened two more roles for the film, two side characters who specifically interact off of one another!

    Screenface in particular still has 0 auditions, with Helmet Head having [1] from my college's servers.

    For the followers who aren't interested in the two new male roles, I'll provide a few overall updates!

    The storyboard for the film is nearing completion, wahoo! Once the storyboard is finished on the 7th, those who get assigned roles will have the storyboard to go off of for timing and pacing!

    Skye's role has been closed, thank you to everyone who gave her an amazing audition, but her closest fit was found outside of CCC.

    The auditions for Mil and Primadonna have been so spectacular, my executive producer and I have been debating with each other over which candidates are the closest to land the roles-- it's tough, everyone is amazing <3

  • Mil is the star of the cast, being the focal point of the story with around two minutes of dialogue.
