Project Overview
This project is a long-term fandub of the Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs
Manga, meaning we will be dubbing over the manga in its entirety! This audition is for chapter 1 of the manga! We will be doing the other chapters at a later point!
About Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs-
Blackmailed into playing a dating simulator set in a matriarchy, an ordinary man must put up with the unbearable and convoluted world until he clears the game. After countless days of grinding, he finally manages to beat it, but his hardcore gaming comes at a cost: extreme sleep deprivation and hunger.While heading out to the convenience store to solve one of these problems, the man tumbles down the stairs and falls unconscious, only to wake up to the worst possible realization—he has been reincarnated into the game as the mob character Leon Fou Bartfort. Now trapped in a world he despises, Leon must use his knowledge of the game to navigate through the plot safely and sustain himself in a society where the odds are heavily stacked against him.
Some rules/guidelines to note before auditioning-
- -Keep in mind, this is a long-term project, so audition with knowing that!
- -Something to remember when audition: You will have to yell some lines... so please acknowledge that!
- -Having knowledge of the manga or show is preferred, but not required.
- -Lines will usually be due 1-2 weeks after the script for the chapter is posted!
- -Please be 16+!
- -Have a decent sounding mic, no background noise/a quiet recording space. The mic doesn't need to be professional... just one that doesn't echo/create lots of background noise.
- -Please do at least 2 takes per line with different delivery styles!
- -Please be easy, respectful, and professional to work with.
- -Please leave your discord in the comments of your audition! Our main point of communication will be on a discord server, so it is required to have a discord account!
- -Last but not least, have fun!

Voice Actor
Olivia (オリヴィア, Orivia) is an honor student at the academy. She was the protagonist of the original otome game and the second fiancé of Leon Fou Bartfort.[1] She is also the Saintess of the Holfort Kingdom in the game.
She is, by all means, a modest girl who is very kind and gentle with people. She dislikes gambling. As a commoner, she's often shocked, if not stressed, about how most things around her are so expensive & luxurious.
Despite her kindness and modesty, she consistently lacks self-confidence, stemming from how she is a commoner who attends a dominantly populated school by nobles who look down on her. Although she becomes more cheerful after befriending Leon and Angelica, her self-confidence deteriorates even further when she feels too dependent on them and questions her worth.
Her English Voice Actor is Jad Saxton but I encourage you to do your own take on the Character

Marie Fou Lafan (マリエ・フォウ・ラーファン, Marie Fō Rāfan) is the daughter of a Viscount family. She is also a reincarnator and the previous younger sister of Leon Fou Bartfort. Marie comes off as a kind and shy young girl from the outside. In reality, she is a manipulative and selfish person who has no problem manipulating others for her own gain.
Her English Voice Actor is Sarah Wiedenheft but I encourage you to do your own take on the Character

Voice Actor
Julius Rapha Holfort (ユリウス・ラファ・ホルファート, Yuriusu Rafa Horufāto) is one of the main capture target in the first series of the otome game and was the former crown prince of the Holfort Kingdom until giving up the title. Being raised to be the next king of Holfort Kingdom, Julius comes off as antisocial and prideful, preferring to keep others at arm's length. He usually speaks to other people with a blunt and harsh tone. Underneath the princely persona, however, Julius is a straightforward young man who treats his close associates generously. Although his naivety and inexperience often make him careless and shortsighted.
His English Voice Actor is Ricco Fajardo but I encourage you to do your own take on the Character

They live in the royal capital without dad. Our mom is his mistress. That’s her, Luce. They had Nicks, then me, and two daughters. The girls don’t have to go to the shed.

Balcus Fou Bartfort (バルカス・フォウ・バルトファルト, Barukasu Fō Barutofaruto) is the father of Leon and head of the Bartfort Household. In a way, Balcus is capable but lazy, like his two sons, who constantly pass responsibilities to others and run away from any subject they deem too troublesome. He also dislikes dealing with high-status people, which, unfortunately, happens increasingly due to Leon's exploits. For example, after defeating the pirates, he deliberately remained on board Eihorn and had Leon talk with Deidre instead.
His English Voice Actor is Ray Hurd but I encourage you to do your own take on the Character

Zola (ゾラ, Zora) was the second official wife of Balcus but eventually divorced by Balcus during war event between Holfort Kingdom & The Principality. Zola is an extreme case of out-of-control behaviors of Holfort noblewomen from viscount/baron families. As one would expect from a fanatic believer in Female Supremacy, Zola is an oppressive, vicious misandrist who sees men as livestock for her to use and discard as she pleases. Even her biological son is not an exception to her abusive treatment.

Nicks Fou Bartfort (ニックス・フォウ・バルトファルト, Nikkusu Fō Barutofaruto) is the eldest son & child of Bartfort Household & Leon's older brother. Nicks is more earnest and upright than his lighthearted younger brother. While Leon often jokes around in most situations, Nick usually goes straight to the point and takes matters seriously, whether his education or duty as the eldest son. Furthermore, unlike the twisted Leon, he feels uncomfortable about trickery and underhanded methods. Nevertheless, both brothers and their father share a sense of modesty, preferring a peaceful, low-profile lifestyle over pursuing power or fame.
I don't have a set voice for him but I would like something in the Medium to Medium Low range
