Total Something You Know Whatever
Project Overview
Make sure you read everything below thoroughly before auditioning. Thank you!
Hello, my name is LordKraken3, and I'm a content creator who specializes in writing, animation, art and plush/figure videos... like this upcoming series, Total Something You Know Whatever.
As you may have guessed by the name, Total Something You Know Whatever is a series that's a lot like the Total Drama series and other shows it's inspired and was inspired by - 22 contestants go head-to-head in challenges of all kinds until only one remains, who will claim the grand prize. Who will win?
There are seven different characters you'll be able to audition for in this casting call, those being Aqua, Chun-Li, Coco Bandicoot, Hanazuki, Kirby, Peach & Starfire.
Guidelines/Expectations:
This is not paid, as my videos are nonprofit and done solely as a hobby.
This is a 21 episode (plus audition tapes) commitment you're auditioning for. You must be committed to your role(s) if you are going to audition for this, as there will be deadlines for each episode's set of lines to make sure I am not ghosted after months of waiting, even after asking for updates (a problem I have encountered in the past). If you are cast, be prepared for the possibility that you might be contacted for other projects, too!
Your microphone quality will be a determining factor as to whether or not you're selected. I want your voice to come through crisp and clear, without any echo, background noise or anything similar. Make sure to also match the voice description for the character(s) you audition for.
Discord is required, because that's where I send & receive things for videos and communicate with VAs- like if I need them to reprise a role or redo something. Be sure to either provide your Discord name in your audition or after being cast.
Be polite, show respect and support toward everyone else participating.
As stated above, auditions close on February 7th at 11:59 PM (EST)- I will select winners (and understudies if I can, just in case) the morning after.
Well then... Good luck & have fun!

Aqua may seem like a revered goddess of water at first, but beneath all the smoke and mirrors she's actually insulting, ill-mannered, scatterbrained and a bit of an oversensitive crybaby too. Nothing like how you'd expect a goddess to be, and now she's coming to compete on a gameshow.
For Aqua's voice, I want to hear something like her dub voice, provided by Faye Mata (example).

(Confused) He said video diary, right? But how does that work if we can all use this? Kinda defeats the purpose of a diary…
(Tantruming, desperate) W-wait! I wasn't paying attention! I WANT A DO-OVER!!!
(Self-assuredly) A goddess doesn’t need alliances. Whatever this Iris character has planned I’ll get to the bottom of it myself!
As a member of interpol, Chun-Li uses her martial arts prowess to fight crime and the forces of Shadaloo wherever she's needed. However, with time off, she's come to join Total Something You Know Whatever!
For Chun-Li, try sounding similar to how she does in the more recent games (example).

(Amicable) *whew* Total Something You Know Whatever, huh? Being off-duty's left me with a lot of free time these days, and such a gameshow sounds fun! If you want me on, then I'd be happy to participate.
You know that just makes it easier for me to catch, right?
(Affirmative) That will-o-wisp caused a hell of a commotion, huh? The other team might lead us right to the canary!
Crash's technologically gifted little sister, Coco Bandicoot is an engineer, which means she solves problems. While she can have her quirks, she's more than suited to be on the show.
For Coco's voice, try to aim for something similar to the voice Debi Derryberry gave her. (example)

(Confident) Let’s do this! I’m ready to tear this game up!
(Confrontational) I should say the same for yours! I’m a bandicoot, not a rat!
That last challenge really showed who the other team’s strongest and weakest links are.
A youthful Moonflower who can change colors to reflect how she's feeling, Hanazuki is very curious, innocent and naive about the outside world, but knows when to be serious and can recognize when the chips are down.
For Hanazuki, please try to sound like her voice actress Jessica DiCicco. (example)

Great! So on that note, I’m Hanazuki, and I wanna join Total Something You Know Whatever!
(Nervously) U-uh, hey, guys… I can’t do much to you, so, uh… Ya wouldn’t hurt me, right?
(Eagerly) Spamton! You got the others with you, right?! We found the canary!
The super tough pink puff, Kirby is a bit of a unique case as he can only speak with the word "Poyo" most of the time. Needs no introduction otherwise.
For Kirby's voice, try sounding like he does in the games and anime.

(Happy) Poyo!
*repeated 'poyo's as if he's holding a conversation*
(showing various different other emotions) Poyo
The Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach has come to compete in the gameshow. She a sweet, classy and soft-spoken personality, but don't mistake her for someone who's easy pickings as she's an adventurous born leader as well.
For Peach, try to sound like how she does in the Mario video games.

Should be a great change of pace from what Mario Party’s like. So if you’d like to have us on, let us know, okay?
That control console seems like it could do something in our favor. Try giving it a shot.
(Urgently) Luigi, wait! You’ll get lost!
A princess from Tamaran and a member of the Teen Titans, Starfire is very sweet, caring and a tad naive about Earth. However, she can also have a temper and a tendency to hold grudges if she thinks her friends do not care for her.
For Starfire, I want to hear a voice similar to that of Hynden Walch (example).

(Amicable) Greetings to all of you. I am most eager to compete in this show of games!
You will not be delivering the shot that kills anytime soon.
(Relieved) Whew! That was a call that was most close.
