Toon City's resident boy genius knows a lot about science, but not so much about life. He thinks anything can be solved with a mathematical equation or a new invention, built his own robot dog, Goddard, and uses his best friend Carl as a guinea pig for his experiments. Genius aside, Jimmy is your typical kid: He takes his parents for granted (until he needs them), enjoys hanging out with his pals Carl and Sheen, and is in constant competition (or is it infatuation?) with Cindy Vortex, the smartest girl in Toon City.
Jimmy has a motivation to invent, he is motivated by the selfless acts that Superman has done when he is saving the world from tyranny, much like the MCU Spider-Man looks up to Iron Man. And after Superman's iconic death-causing battle with Doomsday, Jimmy is devastated that the hero he looks up to is dead (for now). Knowing that there will be moments when Superman is needed, Jimmy decides to take the mantle of Superman to honor his hero's legacy. Jimmy isn't afraid of engaging in a fistfight to stand up for himself. This version of Jimmy seems to have a knowledge of pop culture as well, but not as excessive as Sheen.
An impression of Debi Derryberry would be fitting.
(Insistant) Even though my Dad thought we didn't need a savior, every day I see people crying for one.
(Reassuringly) Sheen, calm down, Jack Spicer can't be that menacing, judging by what we've seen..
It's called psychology, all you have to do is butter them up.
At first, Danny seems like an average teenager attending high school, awkward and nervous but friendly. Like most teenagers, he had crushes on girls, desires to be popular, a dislike of bullies, and embarrassment about his parents. But unlike most teenagers he had ghostly superpowers....and a vengeful attitude.
Since his arch-enemy got Sam and Tucker brutally murdered, Danny Phantom became more violent and vengeful towards criminals, putting fear into his enemies, even Plasmius.
Danny has also shown distress when it comes to failure in himself to protect others. Examples of this include the deaths of hi friends inadvertently causing him to distance his heroic duties from Danielle, his baby sister, which REALLY put a strain on that relationship.
Despite all this, Danny also shows the traits of being a true friend.
An impression of David Kaufman would be appropriate.
And when he's Danny Phantom, he has to sound slightly deeper and intimidating, like Kevin Conroy's Batman.
(As Danny Fenton, relaxed) Look, I've babysat before, Wendy, it's not that complicated.
(As Danny Phantom, threateningly) If you think I've been bad news before, that's nothing compared what's gonna happen now.
(As Danny Phantom, annoyed) You little fool. Jack Spicer doesn't love anyone except himself and Shen Gong Wu. Wake up, Candace. He had you pegged for a hired help the minute he walked into your life.
Someone who could take inspiration from Shirley Walker.
Say something you think would fit
Beetlejuice differs from his film counterpart, as he is more of an anti-hero, but still retains much of his dishonest ways. Actually, this is the least of his problems; according to Lydia, he "hasn't changed" since the day he met her, as made obvious by how filthy he tends to get (and prefers to be). His favorite activities include pulling pranks and scamming people, though as the series goes on, we learn that his most frequent prank victims - his neighbors and Lydia's parents - are individuals of whom he's secretly rather fond of. He rarely pranks Lydia herself; he cares for her above any other person, and will often go to great lengths to ensure her safety, well-being, and happiness.
An impression of Michael Keaton, Alex Brightman, or Stephen Ouimette would be fitting.
"It's Showtime!!!!
Babes, we're a team!!!! I can't live without you! (Beat) Wait a minute, I'm already dead, so no problem!
*A line from the Beetlejuice Movie*
As this series' equal to the Joker, Jack Spicer is generally depicted as an intelligent, psychotic, ambitious, and resourceful individual whose shortcomings ultimately lead to his downfall.
Sometimes, Jack Spicer can best be described as "cowardly". While his ingenuity, insanity and sheer intelligence can be a force to be reckoned with and his strength isn't to be underestimated, his cowardly and meek personality keeps him from achieving his goals.
His more pathetic qualities notwithstanding, Jack can be very dangerous and manipulative, and he is not to be underestimated. Over time, Jack Spicer became a monster, exhibiting psychopathic, sociopathic and manipulative behavior and also was highly intelligent, able to execute morally appalling plans and criminal schemes to get success, but most of his plans usually end up in defeat, mainly due to something or somebody ruining his plans. And that somebody was Danny himself, a rivalry was renewed in the most hatred inducing way.
An impression of Danny Cooksey would work perfectly.
(Evil Cackle rising to insane laughter)
You'll never understand artists, Candy, we must suffer for our art!
(Calm) Easy, Easy, sweetheart, I can take care of Danny boy. Gimme a week, tops! *Screams like a girl* (Annoyed) Okay, I'll need more than a week.
Dexter is an extremely intelligent boy (a self described "Boy Genius") who has been creating fantastic inventions since he was a baby. He considers Albert Einstein to be his greatest influence. He is normally in conflict with his sweet sister Dee Dee. Dexter, though highly intelligent, often fails at what he has set out to do when he becomes overexcited and makes careless choices. He manages to keep the lab a secret from his clueless, cheerful parents, who amusingly never notice any evidence of the laboratory, even when it was right before their eyes. Despite coming from a typical all-American family, Dexter speaks with a Russian accent. Dexter's favorite superheros are Major Glory, Action Hank, Batman, Iron Man and Monkey (not realizing that Monkey is in fact his own lab monkey). Despite his great genius, Dexter is in fact very naive and occasionally very ignorant about certain subjects to the point where it seems like he lacks common sense; such examples of are his ignorance to the nature of girls, classic arcade machines and matters relating to nature, having not even known about famed biologist and friar Gregor Mendel the discoverer of DNA until Dee Dee told him, which clearly shows that despite his vast capabilities, Dexter is still a young and inexperienced child who lacks wisdom and experience. Dexter also has a huge ego which often clouds his judgement and has caused him to make rash and often morally questionable decisions.
An impression of Christine Cavanaugh or Candi Milo would be fitting.
Welcome to Dexter's Laboratory!!!!
Jimmy, this science fair is going to be a success!!
(Awkwardly) Even for someone as dumb as Ed, that's badass.
Sherman Peabody is a bright boy, yet his naive behavior holds him back from being smarter than Jimmy or Dexter. But more often than not, he often acts as a friend to trust and help you with issues you cannot solve on your own.
He even tries to keep the peace with others, often showing signs of level-headedness. But in order to get on his bad side, you'd have to insult the Dallas Cowboys or Mr. Peabody, or cross a line that Sherman won't approve of.
An impression of Max Charles would work just fine.
Don't worry about Bobby, I mean, there's other fish in the sea, you'll do fine. Look at your classmate, Robbie, he went through the worst break-up with Wendy that even Permian High School would've cringed at, but you've never seen him cry.
(Defensive) Mr. Peabody knows how it is with Norbert, heck even those nuts from Gotham could know how it is. (Annoyed) And there were several dropped passes, all Tony could do is get it to Dez or Witten!!!
(Angered, nervous) Oh, it's you, of course it's you!!
Like Sherman, she's really bright, but not really naive, she usually has enough wits to make sure she stops herself from doing something really stupid. However, she hates being upstaged by any others, and tries to get even with them once in a while, but has enough willpower to stop herself from doing something wrong.
She often is seen as being kind, generous and compassionate and willing to help others with certain situations. She's sweet, excitable and fun to be with.
An impression of Ariel Winter would be nice.
(Stunned) I can't believe this, do you know how long it will take to renovate this place?
We put the profile up, and we're not getting any views.
This is the funnest that I've had all in my life!
Penny's twin sister. While she's similar to her sister in any way, she's a mirror image of what her sister once was. Jenny is very spoiled. She appeared to have been envious of Sherman's smarts and called him a dog and bullied him which resulted into a fight. She may also have a wicked sense of humor and spiteful as she would go far to get back at those she dislikes.
Despite all of this, she is also shown to be willing to face up to her mistakes, she understand her own mistakes, but is also loyal and caring to those she is close to.
An impression of Ariel Winter would be nice.
(Annoyed) For the record, I blame you. (Annoyed) For the record, I blame you.
With that attitude, you'll probably get someone or yourself murdered, and your wreckless behavior is the cause of that, so it's your decision, not mine.
(Regretfully) I almost did something back there, something that only Harley Quinn would do, what I would've regretted for years, and I have no idea why......
Mr. Peabody, as noted, is smarter than any living being on Earth. He is devoted to Sherman and has accomplished tons of things in life including inventing zumba, the fist bump, and winning the Nobel prize many times. He looks out for Sherman and does not want bad things to happen to him.
His intelligence has time and again saved him as he is able to think about his situations and the best solution to get out of his predicaments while keeping a calm head, regardless of how dire the situation might be. However, despite his intelligence or perhaps because of it, he can be inept about the delicacy and bonds of family.
While he does display an understanding of how to be social as he often invites important people like the president over for dinner and was able to quickly charm over Penny's parents, his relationship with Sherman is not that simple.
He in some ways seems to see children as part of a project or an invention where the parent builds and raises the child, but cannot understand Sherman because of this, as he wishes he wouldn't grow up and would always listen to his orders and having to be told by Leonardo that children are not like inventions because they are individuals who grow up, have their own opinions, and will spread their wings. This scares Mr. Peabody as he does not want to grow distant to Sherman, which is possibly the reason why he always tells Sherman what to do, to make sure he is not in danger but also to secure the bond he has with him. However, through his misadventures with him and Penny, he realizes he must grow to respect Sherman's growing sense of independence and that no matter what happens, the bond between them will never break.
He also has a habit of trying to act cool and saying terrible puns he thinks are funny. He is normally a very patient individual who takes pride in himself and his accomplishments but will be tolerant of people who look down on him and try to show them what he is capable of, though people like Ms. Grunion will push his buttons. Additionally, while his intelligence prevents him from normally resorting to his more primal, animal side (as shown when he refused to play catch the stick), he does sometimes resort to his canine tendencies as shown when Sherman threw a ball and Mr. Peabody eagerly chased after it. His more vicious, "dog" like behavior will also subconsciously emerge when those close to him are injured or in danger, as shown when he saw Ms. Grunion try to take Sherman away, he cried it hurt and begged Mr. Peabody to help, and Mr. Peabody temporarily reverted to being a dog and proceeded to bite Ms. Grunion in anger, much to his own horror. This shows he is protective of those he loves.
An impression of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark would fit Mr. Peabody better.
Our story begins way above New York City, in the luxurious penthouse apartment of perhaps the most unlikely genius the world's ever known.
However, there are bound to be a few mishaps along the way, since after all, Time Travelling can be unpredictable.
This is the Palace of Versailles, the humble abode of Marie Antoinette, and Sherman, she's still well known for one thing,
Jenifer and Penelope's sister. Cindy is very smart, kind, loving, caring and good-hearted, but she’s also bossy, prideful, independent, competitive, sarcastic and stubborn. Increasingly, she’s forced to an authentic admission that Jimmy can indeed do some cool things and take them on very fun adventures. Throughout the course of the franchise, they start to become closer and closer as friends and didn’t fight as much. It‘s also shown that Cindy secretly looks up to Jimmy, wants to be as smart as him and admires his intelligence. Sometimes, Cindy's desire to be number one can cause her to believe false flattery from the villains, so they can trick her into helping them with their evil schemes, only for her to realize the error of her ways too late.
Cindy is very spoiled and has a large ego. She loves being the center of attention and will do anything for fame and money, even if it means constantly annoying people by reminding how talented and beautiful she is. Sometimes when things don’t go Cindy’s way, she tries to make excuses to justify her actions.
Even though Cindy teases Jimmy, she does care about him a lot and doesn't like it when Jimmy is sad and always tries to comfort him. Heck, she tries to warn him about the dangers of being the Toon City Superman more often than not.
While Cindy constantly makes fun of Jimmy's alleged nerdiness, she is a genius like him and loves science just as much as he does. Her genius IQ just isn't as big as his. Also, while her condescending demeanor would suggest otherwise, she isn't any more popular with other kids than Jimmy is, and she has no close friends aside from Libby and Brittany.
An Impression of Carolwyn Lawrence would work well.
(sarcastically) Oh, boy... Here we go... Queen Libby is in the house...
Claire is totally the definition of a fifth wheel! It's no wonder why Lydia can't stand her.
(Concerned) Neutron, if you're not careful with this Superman gig, you'll get yourself in the hospital or worse, and you still think you should keep going?
Laid back Libby is Cindy's best friend and the voice of reason in their class. Libby has a mind of her own, but for some reason, it usually seems to echo Cindy's. When Cindy goes too far, though, Libby provides a much-needed reality check.
An impression of Crystal Scales would be fitting.
(Annoyed) You'll never understand what it's like to hear slurs like that and have to take it. So don't act like you know what it feels like.
(Shocked) My music! (Uninterested) Also, my leg. (Alarmed) But mostly my music!!!!!
Put up, or shut up!
Cathrine and Caroline Flynn are what Candace used to be.
Cathrine is a typical teenage girl. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and fantasizing over boys, mostly Jeremy. She also strives for popularity and enjoys attention.
She loves to sing and dance, having sung many songs over the summer. She’s confident enough with her dancing that she went on a televised dancing competition. In spite of that she once hesitated to sing for a large audience, she's always confident performing near those close to her.
Caroline, while being a bookworm, possesses an inherent urge to be able to lead and project control over other people. She voices to desire of being left in charge while her parents are away, but is rarely granted such rights. This desire for control is likely the driving force behind her opposition to her brothers' Big Ideas, though this can't be certain.
Perhaps the most notable characteristic trait of Caroline is her utter defiance against any antagonizing forces present in her life along with her unrelenting determination to overpower them. Every day she would struggle in vain to bring her brother's various projects under control and expose them to Linda. She has been battered by and endured a depressing failure rate that would have shattered the will of anyone else, yet her efforts in trying to bust her brothers have remained relentless. However, her defiance to failure trying to get Phineas and Ferb grounded may be taking a noticeable toll on her mental health.
An impression of Ashley Tisdale would fit.
Why would you fall in love with a psycho like Jack Spicer? He murdered thousands!
It was right here!
Just get outta here, Candace, and stay away from Phineas and Ferb until you're Sane again!
*Say something you think would fit*
While she may be like Danny, she's not serious, vengeful and violent as Danny Phantom, in fact, she loves making puns and exchanging witty banter during her fights.
She seems to be a really helpful friend towards others, but she can't stand it when her friends make a wreckless mistake and never take responsibility for it.
Her friendship with Lydia Deetz mirrors Frasier and Niles' sibling relationship.
An impression of Anne Sophia Robb or Kristina Swan
(Chuckled) Yeah, Johnny can be a nut sometimes.
(Annoyed) If he gets more cowardly, I'm throwing him outta here.
(Angrily) Well, I'm not like your friends. I'm not Sam or Tucker. And I never will be. And the sooner you realize that, the happier you will be. (Angrily sad) But if you want to end up all alone, with no friends, no family, that's your future. Not mine.
Mabel is an energetic, fun, bouncy, hyperactive, enthusiastic and free-spirited girl. She is an optimist who skips through life with a braces-filled smile and an assortment of extremely colorful knit sweaters. It is Mabel's outgoing personality and fearless curiosity that comes in handy when Dipper needs help solving a mystery, even if she isn't always aware of her silliness. She shows a more sophisticated attitude when it comes to art.
Despite all the weirdness in Gravity Falls, Mabel is always a "glass-half-full" kind of girl, She is rarely angry or upset, and generally keeps a positive outlook. Despite her cheerful attitude, Mabel is shown to be quite sensitive, as she can occasionally get her feelings hurt, especially by her rival, Pacifica Northwest.
She is somewhat naive at times. She avoids lying and is a terrible liar, often blurting out whatever it is about which she is trying to lie.
Mabel has also shown to be self-righteous in her decisions, which can be far from justified, or they may accidentally backfire in some way.
An impression of Kristen Schaal would be PERFECT!!
(Happily, Straining) Check it out Cindy, I successfully bezazzled my face! Blink! *Painfully* Ow...
The future, is in the past. Onwards, Aoshima!
(Scared) This isn't right! The pig goes OINK! THE PIG GOES OINK!!!!
Lydia is a talented photographer, seamstress, and artist with an affinity and love for all things gross, scary, weird, surreal and macabre, and who celebrates all that is (in the words of her film incarnation) 'strange and unusual'. Despite her love of all things 'strange and unusual', Lydia is also a positive, well-mannered, friendly and patient girl, and aside from also being emotionally mature for her age, Lydia can be accredited as being very responsible for a girl in her age group.
An impression of Alyson Court would be fitting.
Though I know I should be wary, still I venture someplace scary! Ghostly hauntings I turn loose...Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
Those clones are really starting annoy me, B.J., you have to help me.
(Alarmed) BY A DOCTOR? (Sheepishly) N.....No, it'll be fine
Dee Dee is Dexter's extremely ditzy, simple-minded, energetic, hyperactive older sister. She usually, in one way or another, sabotages his experiments and destroys his lab in every episode of the show, although she does so out of ignorant curiosity rather than malicious intent and she in actuality loves and cares for her brother dearly. Though she was shown to get hypocritically angry when she found that Dexter had been in her room and messed with her stuff. Dee Dee also loves ballet, puppies, unicorns, playing dolls with her friends, messing around in Dexter's laboratory and generally depicts all the stereotypes concerning normal girl activities.
Despite her usual ignorance and incredible stupidity, Dee Dee has been shown to actually be a very wise girl for her age who displays far better common sense than her brother and less naivety about subjects that Dexter is completely ignorant about. Dee Dee has a far better understanding of nature and inner peace than her brother as well as apparent knowledge of important biological and botanical subjects, being very familiar with the achievements of biologist and friar Gregor Wendell who even Dexter was completely ignorant of.
An impression of Allison Moore or Kat Cressida would be needed.
(Screams) If this idiot touches me, I'll scream!
I hope you've learned a lesson here, Dexter. Don't ever leave your expiriments in the hands of the idiotic, there's no telling what could happen!
Ooh! What does this button do!
Arnold is a calm, nice, kind, optimistic, upbeat and smart idealist who always sees the best in people despite how unkind, outlandish or sneaky some of them maybe. Although he's usually a pacific kid, he has his limits and can be a bit irritable when he's pushed too far.
Arnold has a natural gift for giving advice and guidance to others. He often goes out of his way to help others (whether kid or adult), giving them advice when he runs into them, helping them overcome their issues, or help them see the error of their ways. This trait is likely inherited from his parents, who were humanitarian helpers of jungle communities.
An impression of Toran Caudell, Phillip Van Dyke, or Spencer Klein would be appropriate
*A line from Hey Arnold! will do*
(Confused) Do you even know what you get into when putting up with someone like Dexter?
(Concerned) There's three girls in this picture, your mother said you only have two. What happened?
At school, Gerald is the class president and considers himself very cool, and apparently, so do his friends. When it was revealed that Arnold was on Rhonda's so-called "Cool List", and that Gerald was on her other list known as "The Geek List" (due to a grudge Rhonda had against him over running for class president), many classmates were surprised to find this out. He can even become jealous of others if they steal his spotlight, which likely stems from his home life, where he is the oft picked on middle child.
He often serves as the voice of reason in the group of friends, and a realistic counterbalance to Arnold's optimistic attitude. This sometimes causes conflict between the two, but never for long. Another facet of Gerald's personality that opposes Arnold's is his weaker sense of morality. Gerald is far less open to helping others, and almost always attempts to dissuade Arnold from doing so. He's also more likely to doubt people or to spite somebody that he believes has wronged him, such as his brother. He's also somewhat selfish, seen when he hesitated to tell Jamie O that his girlfriend was manipulating him in order to get benefits from him.
An impression of Jamil Walker Smith would be fitting.
I dunno about this, but I came this far to see how this ends, I ain't turnin' back now.
You are one bold kid.
(Frustrated) I ain't as strong as you think, alright? I have to be out there doin' MY best to shine like the brightest star in the galaxy. If I don't, I'm just another kid in the neighborhood.
Helga could be classified as a tomboy, as evidenced by her interest in playing contact sports alongside her male classmates and disregard/dislike for stereotypical female behavior, although this is countered by her fondness of the color pink and otherwise girly clothing choices. She can also be very cynical, deceitful, violent, tough and bossy, bullying her classmates with an iron fist, and often taking advantage of her best friend, Phoebe, making her a bit of a spoiled brat. She also tends to reply sarcastically to express her annoyance and usually mocks her classmates by calling them nicknames. However, Helga also has a much softer side, which becomes apparent when she is alone and involved in her school work. She is very emotional, poetic, sometimes caring, and as such, able to comprehend a spectrum of emotions such as love and hate.
An impression of Francessca Marie Smith will be acceptable.
(Annoyed) Criminy....
(Embarrassed) Don't tell anyone about my poems, alright?
(Horrified, Angered) Johnny, HARLEY QUINN IS OUR PRINCIPAL!!! HOW COULD ANYONE BE OKAY WITH THIS?!
Stinky is a stereotypical country boy and speaks with a hillbilly accent. Despite this, he is actually much smarter than people think and doesn't like it when people stereotype him as being dumb. Stinky can occasionally act like a jerk as well, often when he's with Sid. But when he's not with Sid, Stinky is much more civilized, calm, mild-mannered, mature and serious.
An impression of Christopher P. Walberg is appropriate.
This really bites!
Willickers!
As a kid that has a summer home in Texas, I can safely say one thing: any football question involving seasonal wins greater than 5 will never involve the Cowboys.
