Side note and age notice: We're keeping the main project (and all the side ones) non-18+. (There will be some romance [most likely in the side projects] but not to that extent). The main editors and I were just chatting about reaching an even wider audience by dialing back any cursing, but we're still finalizing that. Excited to make this great for everyone!
We are currently working on an English dub adaptation of the storyline from the anime-style game Tokyo Debunker. At this stage, a small group of collaborators has come together to develop the project, with plans to expand into additional side projects in the future, including English-translated fan comics, dubbed content, and more. At the moment, however, the confirmed focus is on producing an English dub of the Tokyo Debunker storyline. We may also consider additional side story manga video dubs down the line. Please note that this is not a long-term commitmentāif you are only interested in participating in a single project, that is absolutely fine.
Some roles may require a small amount of work at first, with more added again a couple of weeks later. Because this is a large cast, we hope the workload will stay light and flexible, allowing us to collaborate with many people, create an amazing project, and avoid feeling too rushed.
Please note that this is currently a volunteer-based project. However, compensation will be provided once the project begins generating revenue. And of course... You will be credited and sourced if chosen! Since the auditions will be open for 5 weeks, know that: Most likely, roles won't start to close until the last week or two.
We are also looking to expand our team and welcome support from 2d animators, as well as video and photo editors. While we already have a few contributors in these roles, we are always open to additional help from those who are interested and able to contribute their time. If you feel like a couple of characters might fit you, don't hesitate to try to audition for more than one role. Auditioning for more than one role is encouraged!
This project is expected to begin sometime in June, though the exact date has not been finalized yet. Since this is a large project, if you are accepted and later find that you are no longer able to continue, that is completely understandable.
BEFORE RECORDING, PLEASE NOTE:
If possible, please record your audition in a quiet environment with minimal background noise, using a clear and reliable microphone. This will help us best hear and appreciate your performance. For named character auditions, youāre welcome to use the characterās Japanese voice lines as a reference for tone and style. These can be found on the Tokyo Debunker Wiki under the voiceline section for each specific character. Weāre generally aiming for a similar vocal direction, naturally adapted into English.
WHILE WAITING FOR RESULTS, PLEASE NOTE:
Auditions will remain open for a while. Even if youāre not selected right away or selected for the part, weāll keep your audition on file and saved for the roleāin case the chosen person needs to step away later.

Towa has a deep fondness for flowers. Though strikingly whimsical and capricious, he is quite attached to Haru. He has a peculiar skill for making supernatural creatures do his bidding.
This character is a bit trickier but voices should be somewhat soft or gentle or at least spoken mostly like that but also he does hum quite a bit. He has a happy personality and acts rather childish sometimes. When he talks about anomalies, especially with Hyde, he quickly got lost in technical details. He's a little long-winded in general.

Dante presents himself as a calm and serious teacher who takes his work at the academy very seriously. Due to this, he is known by students as a boring and strict teacher, yet there are also some students who claim it is only because of his dedication as a teacher.

We need some people to edit voice actor recordings and sync them with comic panels to create smooth, entertaining dub videos. The job may include audio cleanup, timing adjustments, transitions, and making the final video look polished and easy to follow. You are free to use whatever editing software you are most comfortable with as long as it works for you!
