A Very Sprout-Loveless Spring Break Comic Dub
Project Overview
Christopher Loveless is a sardonic 22 year old college student who comes to visit his mother over spring break, only to find that she is leaving for France with her boyfriend. His so-called "best friend" (that he is very reluctant to call a friend in the first place) Tobin Sprout tries to cheer him up for spring break.
A Very Sprout-Loveless Spring Break is a dub of my 10-page comic of the same name for the upcoming anthology "Storyboard Vol. 2". While this is not a NSFW project, I would prefer you to be 18 years old or older.

The main lead of the story, Christopher is a rather grumpy, sardonic 22 year old college student. He has cynicism even towards his own mother, and is reluctant friends with his "best friend" Tobin Sprout. Despite all that, he does yearn for connection, leading to him to go home to see his mother for spring vacation, only for his mother to jet set off to France with her new 20-something boyfriend. I imagine his voice being a bit gruff for a 22 year old.
"Can you give me some space, please?"
"Not everyone has mommy and daddy's money, Tobin. I had to work to get this green."
"Maybe this wasn't so bad after all."
The second lead of the story, Tobin is a sweet, upbeat 19 year old passionate about music. He considers Christopher his best friend, which Christopher reluctantly complies. Tobin's also a bit of an airhead with his head always up in the clouds daydreaming.
"That's not good for babies! He could get asbestos poisoning!"
"Oh, just browsing. You doing anything for spring break?"
"Haha, why are you talking to your dog like that! He doesn't even speak English! Now that's funny."
"Don't you talk to your mother like that!"
"Honey! Can you pick me up from the airport? Me and my boyfriend broke up!"
Tobin's precocious dog, who happens to speak to both Tobin and Christopher.
"C'mon Chris, you're lonely. Tobin's lonely. It's a perfect opportunity."
Ms. Loveless's boyfriend.
"Won't you like to say something, babe?"
