TOADAL DRAMA (Official Series)
Project Overview
- WHAT IS TOADAL DRAMA? : A sprite animated adventure in the vein of Survivor featuring everyone's favorite videogame characters in one epic competition.
- CAN YOU TELL ME MORE?: Toadal Drama is an animated affectionate parody of Cartoon Network's Total Drama series featuring the cast of Nintendo's Super Mario Brothers games. The story is simple. Each season, a gang of misfit characters are pitted against each other in a heated competition. The goal: to win one million coins. Every episode one of the contestants will get the boot. Ultimately, only one will remain to claim the cash prize. With so many twists and turns, will your favorite character make it to the top?
- CURRENTLY: We are in the middle of our newest production, the second season- Toadal Drama World Cruise.
This season is 14 episodes long as well as containing music videos, 3 of which are all uploaded, and we are now searching for a VO due to our previous one stepping down from the role. (MORE INFO BELOW) - ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?: Aside from the competition episodes we do release shorts, holiday specials, mini-sodes and songs! It is important that our voice actors be versatile and comfortable working with voice direction one-on-one. Our acting talent have the choice of recording with one of our directors, or recording independently. Multiple takes are encouraged.

Madame Flurrie, shortened Flurrie, is a retired actress who fell from fame decades ago. With youth no longer on her side, she aims to rebrand her career with the millionaire title and will do anything to ensure that she’s the victor. She detests being an ‘understudy’, and yearns being the face of fame.
She retains her actress mentality and often enhances her speech with dramatic theatre jargon. Her voice is motherly and comforting while merging nuances of Little Mermaid’s ‘Ursula’ and Phylicia Rashad (with a hint of "Mother Earth"ly essence). Her words are eloquent, poised and said with precision.
Voice adjectives: motherly, melodic (please refer to our current series for what we are looking to replicate and replace).
PROVIDING THREE (3) TAKES OF EACH LINE FOR YOUR AUDITION WILL HELP US BETTER UNDERSTAND YOUR RANGE, POINTS OF INFLECTIONS AND FLOW.

Kamek is the advisor to the great Koopa King himself, Bowser. An age old wizard and powerful magician, Kamek is extremely intelligent and a master of forbidden magic arts. Despite his superior's lackluster energies in thwarting the Mario Bros and Yoshi, Kamek will never let an opportunity pass by to make their lives difficult, usually for his own amusement, however with his best efforts to be the glue within the Koopa family, Kamek often finds himself stressed and overworked.
Kamek is quick, sharp, very wise-cracking, and comedically sarcastic.
Kamek has a high-pitched shrill voice, we are aiming for one similar to that of the Mario games, but any iteration of something similar is welcome. Despite Kamek’s age he speaks clearly and quickly, at times with undertones of disdain and exasperation due to the responsibilities he holds.
Kamek will be a reoccurring minor character in the Toadal Drama universe.
(PROUD) See that!? The spell worked wonders! (sharp laughter) Say goodbye, Yoshi.
(IRRITATED/SARCASM) A thousand apologies your Nastiness, your plans to capture the Princess and wed her are always superior. (mhmm, superior failures)
(UPSET) Mark my words, I’ll get you one day you scamp. Mark em!
