Project Overview
[AN IMPORTANT READ]
Hello,
Nine Act is a voice acting group that wants to get voice actors recognized. Right now, we're only going to be voice acting video games that haven't got voices. The reason being is that Nine Act is a start-up group and to voice over Anime (etc.), you need a license. Even if you don't need the permission to upload your project to a form of media, production for it is quite tedious.
We'll be using YouTube as our primary source to showcase our projects as their copyrights for video games have seem to died down over the years which makes this type of project easier to finish. Any royalties made on our videos will be shared with voice actors who participate and work with us on individual projects (ask for more details). In layman's terms, you don't need to actually work IN the group in order to gain royalties for your voice.
Now that we've got the intentions out of the way, we're looking for voice actors to voice over 'Time Hollow' on the Nintendo DS.
This project will be released as an episodic 'Let's Dub'.
Once you audition for a character, please leave the make and model of your microphone so that we can pinpoint both quality and quantity of your performance (USB/Built-in microphones shouldn't really be used but will be considered in certain situations).

Timothy is a major character in Time Hollow. He is the father of Ethan Kairos, the main protagonist.
"Pass me that soy sauce next to you there, would you, Ethan?"
[Read this line as though you're asking Ethan for the condiment on the table.]
"A cut?! Did someone attack you?"
[Read this line as though you've found out that Ethan has a series of cuts on his hand. It's made you worried and a little furious.]
"I’d say that means he doesn't need our money."
[Read this line in an almost obnoxious way. As though a family member (brother) kept asking you for money, but today, they haven't asked and so, you're relieved about it.]

OCCUPATION: FREELANCE JOURNALIST
Derek is a major character in Time Hollow. He is the younger brother of Timothy Kairos and the uncle of the protagonist, Ethan Kairos.
Although Derek comes off as an uninvited guest during the game's introduction, he shows responsibility by looking after Ethan since the disappearance of his parents in an alternate timeline.
Derek later proves to be central to the game's plot as he decides to help in Ethan's investigation.
"Come on, I only need a little! Just a tiny bit..."
[Read this line as though you're inconsiderably begging a family member (brother) to loan you some money.]
"Well, I won’t leave ‘til you do! Whaddya think about that, huh?"
[Read this line as though you're almost threatening a family member (brother) to loan you some money.]
"Hey, Ethan-talk some sense into your stingy old man, would ya?"
[Read this line as though you're telling Ethan to persuade Timothy into loaning you some money. This line is directly offensive on purpose and is said right in front of Timothy.]

OCCUPATION: HOUSEWIFE
Pamela is the mother of main protagonist Ethan Kairos and the wife of Timothy Kairos.
She shows a very calm attitude, to the point where it becomes almost unnerving; when Derek Kairos visits her house one night and argues with Timothy, she is shown simply to be sat at the table, drinking her tea.
"Ethaaan! Tiiiim! Time for dinner!"
[Read this line as though you're calling your family (Ethan and Timothy) to come into the kitchen for dinner.]
"Here you go. Hey! Where did you get that cut?"
[Read this line as though you've just handed salt to Ethan but then noticed a scratch on his hand.]
"Ha ha ha! That’s Sox! He absolutely hates water, that cat."
[Read this line as though you know how your cat acts around water and you're just chuckling to yourself about it.]

Ethan lives with his parents, Pamela and Timothy Kairos, in his house.
Ethan was a normal high school student until the morning of his seventeenth birthday, when he woke up to find his whole world had changed; he found his parents gone, ostensibly having vanished some years ago, and that he had been living with his uncle, Derek Kairos.
"I was just trying to get you cleaned up, you know."
[Read this line as though you're talking to your cat who has just scratched you a moment ago because he didn't want to have a bath. The scratch doesn't hurt however.]
"(I’m thinking of getting a part-time job so I can afford the one I really, really want.)"
[This is Ethan talking to himself inside his head. Read this line as though you're just thinking of different methods on how you're going to purchase that item you really wanted.]
"Like you, Mom-I can tell you ‘til I'm blue in the face, but you never season your meals properly!"
[Read this line as though you're a little frustrated about how people don't listen to you and so, you're just taking it out on your own Mother.]
