Woahhhh Alright This is done LOL

Edit: Alright. This blew up. So here's some clarity:

Intention: I tried so hard to frame this as 'not racist' but trying too hard made it sound racist. Now I understand this in itself is racist. My largest mistake was associating soulbrotha's overall style with race.  It was not necessary and was hugely inaccurate. 

Am I sorry? Of course.

Do I hate Soul Brotha? Of course not.

Was this how I pictured Macks? No. I wrote this for a fictional character that parodied him. I knew I would never be able of replicating his style and charisma from the beginning. My version of him in the script was a very flawed character, but not in the way I wanted everyone to think. My character was having an identity crisis.

Was the script racist/offensive? It didn't come off like that. I've sent it around to different people for feedback and they thought it was alright. I've even sent it to someone that was featured in the script to see if it was offensive. He thought it was totally fine.

Did the script suck? Yes LOL. 

Are you quitting this project? Of course I am. Writing wise it sucked anyway, and if it's going to offend everyone then I'm not going to get it out there. If the project offended even just one of the people featured in this script, then it was going down. There was no need for the fan's auditions. I was never going to fight back.

Should you like me? Hey that's up to you. I'm just a person who's made a huge mistake and had no intention of harming anyone. If you're going to hate me because of what's happened, that's totally up to you and I don't blame you. It's understandable and completely comprehensible.
