Threshold: 2042 (Season 2)

Project Overview

Threshold: 2042 is a suspense-driven sci-fi audio drama blending mystery, psychological horror, and human stories.

Told through news broadcasts, personal recordings, emergency transmissions, and witness accounts, the series explores how humanity responds when the impossible becomes part of everyday life.

Season 2 expands the story beyond the original investigation, focusing on the people affected by these events:

The families waiting for answers.

The workers trying to keep society running.

The civilians who witness things they cannot explain.

And those who believe that the Returned are still people who deserve to be saved.

The deeper we search for answers…

The more questions appear.

Season 2 will contain 10 episodes aproximately 3-5 minutes long each, and will be released weekly beginning in early October. Season 3 is expected in the spring of 2027.

  • We are receiving conflicting reports tonight. Some witnesses claim they saw something appear. Others insist that something disappeared.

  • Authorities here are asking citizens to remain calm, but questions remain regarding what exactly occurred.
