Project Overview

🌹 Thorne & Thistle

Thorne & Thistle is a narrative-driven cosy supernatural management game currently in development by Elderflower Night Studio.

Players inherit a struggling flower shop in the Victorian town of Rosebury, where customers arrive seeking help, advice, remedies, and sometimes far more dangerous solutions. Through meaningful choices, relationship building, and a cast of memorable recurring characters, players will shape both the future of the town and the lives of those who call it home.

Combining character-driven storytelling, branching outcomes, and light management mechanics, Thorne & Thistle aims to create a world where every choice leaves its mark.

About This Casting Call

This casting call is the first stage of our voice acting process.

Rather than casting specific characters immediately, we are looking to identify performers whose voices, acting ability, and delivery may be suitable for future character roles within the project.

Successful applicants may be invited to participate in later casting rounds for named characters.

    Hello and thank you again to everyone who submitted an audition for our project. We received an astounding number of truly excellent takes on our characters and are excited to work with those that are cast. The casting team has been working dilligently to keep up with each new audition so that we can inform those cast and those that aren't as quickly as possible.

    For those that sadly did not make the cut, please don't be discouraged as in many cases it was a difficult decision to make and it came down to small details in performance, technique or tone that ultimately made the decisions. We hope that you'll consider auditioning for future projects with us.

    Hello everyone who's already submitted or will be submitting an audition between now and the end of the audition period. First and foremost, we at Elderflower Night Studio would like thank you all for sharing your talent with us! We've received a multitude of truly fantastic auditions in this round.

    Now on to the reason for the update.

    As our primary means of communication will be through Discord. If you're cast, we'll need your Discord info so we can get in touch with you and add you to the game's server.

    Due to the number of submissions once again, and how well our process was received in the first round, we're also reviewing how we're letting everyone know - whether cast or rejected.
