The Walking Dead: Minecraft

The Walking Dead: Minecraft

Project Overview

The first episode follows Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes, after being shot he awakes to find the world overrun by the undead. With the help of a father and son, he is able to cope with the apocalypse and get on his feet to attempt to find his family.

This project is going to be multiple seasons and we will be adding characters to it as they come and go. The first episode's sets are complete and filming began on 3/15/2016. My partner and I have both filmed with a variety of YouTubers, so we have some experience in this field. We hope to create a product that does both the show justice and the art form itself. We are very excited and we can not wait to see the great talent you wonderful people have. Thank you so much.

Ed is shown to be violent and abusive especially to his wife, but he would often verbally abuse the other females of the group. Carol mentions that Ed would try and show his dominance by not allowing her to wear attractive clothing and this is possibly the reasoning for Carol's short hair to make her less attractive to other males.

  • I said it's cold. You should mind your own business for once.

Shane Walsh

Shane leads the survivors until Rick's arrival, then becomes Rick's right-hand man. The reunion is not completely amicable; in the second season, Shane develops into an antagonistic character, becoming more aggressive and unpredictable, due to his growing obsession with Lori and subsequent jealousy of Rick. He also becomes willing to abandon or kill those he deems liabilities to the group and has no moral conscience for outsiders. This puts Shane at odds with Rick's moral leadership, as he believes that Rick is ill-equipped to lead and that he would be a better leader. His only true concern becomes for Lori and Carl, and not the group itself.

  • "Yes, I can hear you. You're coming through. Over."

  • "We're just outside the city. Damnit. Hello? Hello? He couldn't hear me. I couldn't warn him."

Role assigned to: strangest amethyst

Rick Grimes is the series' central character. A former sheriff’s deputy in a small Georgia town, Rick is an everyman — smart, calm, just, a sharpshooter, and a good friend, husband and father — but flawed. Rick is a natural leader, someone his fellow survivors will turn to in a crisis, confident in his guidance, even when he at times doubts himself. His overwhelming need to do the right thing and protect those who can't protect themselves may pull him away from his family, causing cracks of tension within his marriage and in his relationship with his son. His frustrations about leading his group and keeping them safe gradually change him into a darker character.

  • "Sometimes I wonder if you even care about us at all. She said that in front of our kid. Imagine going to school with that in your head. Difference between men and women? I would never say something that cruel to her. Certainly not in front of Carl."

  • "You see the framed photos on the walls? Neither do I. Some random thief took those too, you think? My photo albums, family pictures, all gone."

  • "Broadcasting on emergency channel. We'll be approaching Atlanta on Highway 85. Anybody reads, please respond. Hello. Hello. Can anybody hear my voice? Anybody out there? Anybody hears me, please respond. Hello, can you hear my voice?"

Morgan Jones is a survivor staying in Rick Grimes’ hometown with his son, Duane. Following the walker outbreak, Morgan evacuated with his son Duane and his wife Jenny. Their plan was to head for Atlanta in search of military protection. En route, a walker attacked Jenny, forcing the family to seek refuge in a vacant house belonging to Rick’s neighbor. After Jenny died of the walker virus and reanimated, Morgan and Duane stayed in the town, fearful of moving on, with Morgan also unwilling to leave Jenny behind even though she is now a walker. Fiercely protective, Morgan barricades himself and Duane inside the house. Despite the dire conditions, Morgan still endeavors to create normalcy for Duane, correcting his son’s grammar and engaging in mealtime prayers. He disappears after episode 1, but comes back throughout the later seasons.

  • "No… Not the one's they put down… The one's they didn't. The walkers. Like the one I shot today. Cause he would have ripped into you. Try to eat you, take him some flesh at least. But I guess if this is the first you're hearing, I know how it must sound…"

  • "She, uh… She died in the other room, on that bed… Nothin' I can do about it here… I should have put her down, I just didn't have it in me… She's the mother of my child."

  • "Atlanta sounds like a good deal. Safer anyway. People… That's where we were heading. Things got crazy. Man, you won't believe. The panic… Streets won't fit to be on, and then we'll… My wife… couldn't travel. No, not with our herd, so we had to find a place to lay low. And then, after she died… We just stayed hunkered down. I guess we just froze in place."
