Project Overview
A fan dub of a remake to the iconic Metal Gear Solid. Codec calls eliminated, the story remains the same. Solid Snake, son of Big Boss, a legendary 20th century mercenary, is called upon to stop nuclear terrorists calling themselves the "Sons of Big Boss". Their leader is someone who appears to be identical to Solid Snake, except for his hair color and skin tone.To prepare for this production, I ask that people interested in auditioning that do not know the source material should the game. Play the original PlayStation one game "Metal Gear Solid" or the remake on the Nintendo GameCube "Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes", which is the one used as the basis for this. In addition, I ask that you also play "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty"'s Tanker Chapter, as this story extends there.
This project has been in development since December 2012, and many roles have been cast. The actors voicing the characters of Dr. Naomi Hunter, Colonel Roy Campbell, and AT President Kenneth Baker have completed their roles.
This was originally a fan project between myself and my best friend who introduced me to the games. I decided he voice the lead role of Snake and Grey Fox while I was Ocelot, Mantis, and Liquid. Later on, I decided to extend the project to friends who were either aspiring actors like me, or professional actors already. I decided to open roles uncast to the public. And due to popular demand, I may open the roles I am playing to allow auditions in case someone has more talent than I.
I do intend on making "Sons of Liberty", "Guns of the Patriots", and "Snake Eater" later on. So if you do not get cast in this one, you can try another.

(I should note that this will not be heard in the final version, as it is part of gameplay, and not the cutscenes. But this is a powerful speech, for a powerful character)
This project was evolved from the Arsenal Ship Program advanced from the mid-90s by the 25th Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Mike Boorda. Some say that has led to it being cursed. Admiral Boorda's death was indeed unfortunate. However, we must carry RAY to its completion. [...] The predecessor to this project was the Arsenal Ship Program advanced of the mid-90s. However, the man heading it up, Admiral Boorda, unexpectedly committed suicide in May of 1996, resulting in the program being abruptly shelved at Phase II, its stage of functional planning. Development of Metal Gear REX began immediately afterwards, a fact which gave rise to a number of rumors surrounding the admiral's death, as I'm sure you're all aware.

Thats right... The Genome Soldiers that youve been killing are our brothers, with the same genes as ours.

I've been on the unit since I was born. I grew up on the battlefield. Conflict and victory were my parents. The unit is my life, my family. We've shared everything -- all the bad and all the good. I have no one -- nothing except the unit. Nothing else matters to me! Whoever you are, your not stopping us!Control room, communications and engine room are under control. All entry and exit points to the tanker holds secured. Infrared sensors placed and operational.
I think you deserve a little credit. No one's ever dodged that shot of mine... But no one gets lucky twice, either!
