Green Dragon: [muttering] "More scared of you, honestly... Who is this child?" [grabs Riddens by the back of his shirt, holding him at eye level] "How are you this reckless and mean at your age? Let me guess... sigh You’re one of the Pillars of Dusk, aren’t you? Curse you, Bahamut!"
Green Dragon: [rolling his eyes] "Oh, right, you wouldn’t know. Typical. Listen up, brat, you’re one of the ten Pillars of Dusk, chosen by the cosmic forces or whatever nonsense they spout. Don’t ask me what it means—I don’t care. All I know is that we dragons got saddled with you as our 'partners' to keep the balance of the realms. Unfortunately, I got stuck with the worst pillar."

From this moment forth, you shall be known as the Ebonwyrms—shadowed guardians cursed to serve the Ten Pillars of Dusk until death claims you or eternity crumbles. Take this as curse or blessing, for your fates are sealed. Red Dragon, I pair you with King Andar, a ruler of unwavering might. Brass Dragon, I pair you with Queen Sepharina, whose wisdom shines as brightly as her realm. Black Dragon, I pair you with Umbra Eraxan, a shadowed warrior of unyielding resolve. Blue Dragon, I pair you with Azure Greythas, a stormborn master of the skies. Bronze Dragon, I pair you with Brazen Udovull, whose cunning shapes the tides of battle. Copper Dragon, I pair you with Rust Hequll, a steadfast keeper of flame and ember. Gold Dragon, I pair you with Gleam Baphrax, a radiant soul guiding the realm’s light. Silver Dragon, I pair you with Moon Shavull, a sentinel of luminous grace. White Dragon, I pair you with Frost Faekris, a guardian as enduring as the frozen peaks. And finally, Green Dragon, most vile of all, whose wrath laid waste to an innocent village and left nothing but ash and ruin. For your sins, I pair you with the most troublesome of the Pillars, a defiant child of the forest who knows the pain of survival. Together, your fiery tempers shall clash, but with patience, you will rise beyond all others, the strongest of the Ten Pillars of Dusk. Go now, Ebonwyrms. Let your chains remind you of the balance you sought to destroy and the lives you must now protect. Fail them, and even the mercy of death shall not reach you.
