The Spectacular Spider-Man Continued Geography 101
Project Overview
As a lot of people may or may not know, The Spectacular Spider-Man TV series was prematurely cancelled after two seasons, running from 2008-2009. However that all changes now (kinda)! We're a small but growing team of artists, animators, voice actors, music producers, etc. making our own fan-made continuation of this beloved series! The first major project we are working on as of now is an animated movie: The Spectacular Spider-Man: Geography 101, which takes place between the last season of the series before it was cancelled (Season 2) and our own Season 3 continuation!
Since Behind The Voice Actors has shut down their casting call feature on their website, we are moving our castings to CCC instead! We are very much in need of various other parts of production, such as Artists, Animators, Editors, Sound Designers, and more, so make sure to check out our open roles!
We will be accepting applications for Artists, Animators, Editors, Sound Designers, and any other potential non-VA production staff roles on a rolling basis, so if the project page closes or expires, feel free to DM us on here or on our Instagram as well! We'll also be rolling over the project page on here as well more or less until the job is done!

SYNOPSIS
The life of our favorite webslinger is at a turning point, following the death of Norman Osborn, The Green Goblin. Spider-Man's relationship with the police has deteriorated as he is implicated in killing The Goblin, who has been publicly exposed to be Norman. Peter has to deal with Harry and Gwen together as a couple while he is completely alone. When Harry invites him and most of the students at Midtown High to a spring break trip to Miami, it seems as if he'll be able to take his mind off the situation he's in. However... trouble always has a way of finding Spidey, especially while there is a frustrated Kraven there hunting The Lizard! But is there anything more to this?

Animators on our project plan to use ToonBoom Harmony and ToonBoom Storyboard Pro as their main programs, and we prefer to have our newcomers use it or learn to use it as well for consistency and flow. Our lead animators can absolutely help to bring newcomers up to speed on the software and teach them the basics of it if needed as well, so no worries if you're inexperienced with it! Concept Artists have a free choice of program to use. Must audition with varied pieces which faithfully replicate the Spectacular Spider-Man art style. Multiple different characters other than Spidey himself are very appreciated :P
We're also in the process of storyboarding, so we definitely need all hands on deck for that process. If you're able to help do some level of thumbnailing or scene compositions (not even fully in the SSM style at the beginning) then that would be a huge plus!

You are free to use any program of choice, just make sure to study how backgrounds are drawn in the actual show first and assure yourself you can replicate it. We aren't exactly looking for super detailed stuff, just something that looks good :)

We just need some help in simple sound editing, nothing cinematic, more so animated TV show quality, punching sound effects, metal clanks, crates breaking, city ambience, etc, the stuff you'd expect from a Spider-Man show.
We're also looking for EQing and splitting when it comes to voice lines. Splitting up different takes, being able to level out recordings and make them sound cleaner and equal with others, etc.

We're looking to get more editors on board who can compile the animatic/animations, sound effects, voice acting, and score together to make the film really pop! Hopefully will be able to collaborate with our other editors to ensure consistency from scene to scene.
We're not towards the portion of production where editing and compiling is going to be a priority just yet, but if you'd want to message us and be on standby when that does draw closer, please feel free!
