They were pumping, and pumping...
The Shadoks, chances are you've never heard of them. But in France where they were originally created, they were an unprecedented success. This series of shorts has aired only once a day on the ORTF's networks at the time and for good reason, as its satirical and comedy genius was said to be so well-written and hilarious that prolonged viewing may cause some serious side effects... in summary it was the original brain rot!
These bird-like, long legged creatures weren't really the brightest and have a vocabulary consisting of only four syllables, however there's one thing they're really good at, and it's pumping! They speculated that if they ever stop, who knows what kind of consequences would happen. They also have a grudge against Gibis, a species of hat-bearing shorter creatures from the other side who barely see them as a serious threat.
There was an English dub broadcast on ITV in the United Kingdom... but it's lost. This fandub was hence done to ensure that audiences around the world would continue to discover this hidden gem!
