On the silent red deserts of Mars, Doctor Manhattan confronts the collapse of his humanity. Haunted by his wife’s betrayal and disillusioned with the chaos of Earth, he reflects on how he has been worshiped as a god and used as a weapon — never loved for who he truly is. Surrounded by the peace of Mars, he feels both empty and strangely free, realizing at last that perhaps distance from humanity is not a tragedy… but a release.
