The Runaway Treasure of the Nile AUDIO DRAMA- SUPPORTING ROLES
Project Overview
Welcome to the Runaway Treasure of the Nile Audio Drama Series!
This is an audio drama that I decided to make based on my current Dungeons and Dragons campaign of the same name. The Runaway Treasure of the Nile was nothing but mysteries, fairytales, and rumors spread around the people of Shantanet, a land very similar to what we know as Egypt, where there was a story of a treasure that never stayed in the same place. If there were adventurers who thought they found where the treasure was being hidden, when they would arrive there would be nothing there for them..at least..that's how the fairytales go. None of the adventurers have made it back alive to tell what really happened, and what they saw along the way.
Now four new heroes have emerged, carrying the four map pieces that are used to find this mysterious story. Farryn, the high elf wizard, half-elf twins Aradara and Lasrila, and dhampir bard Misty. All from different walks of life, all with a common purpose. Find out the reason that they have come into possession of these map pieces, and what awaits on the other side of the adventure.
While there are some relationships taking place in this series no VA will ever be required to perform any NSFW work, as we ourselves during the game do not perform it. There will be implications, but for those roles I do request 18+ VA's due to the contents of some conversations.
These are the SUPPORTING roles of the series, as I still have some things to finalize with the players before I post the casting for the main VA's and the narrator. But they WILL be coming soon. Some of these roles play a more major part in the series like Anka, with some being in only a few episodes.
In your audition please state your discord so if you are cast I can invite you to the official server where there will be news on the current story, episode releases, script releases, and more!

Voice Actor
The BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy) in the campaign. Pharoah turned out to be a dictator, Anka shows up to terrorize the players, always watching them, wanting to take over Shantanet and turn it into her own personal mind palace, with nobody to defy her, and nobody to go against her.
She is deceiving, manipulative, and sounds a lot like Maleficent.

Well..well..well..aren't you such an adorable group of...whatever you are..I see you have come into possession of my map..shame that you're going to have to give it up. It's been such an adventure you've had already.
*Annoyed* Edric is pathetic for not being to take that map back from you, so it seems that his dear old daughter is more of a pathetic nothing than he is. Maybe that's why he left you.
I am everywhere. I am everyone. I am everything. I am the rightful queen of Shantanet, and I am going to make sure that everyone knows it once I am standing before them and sitting on my throne after the coronation.
Voice Actor
Edric Vossen is a middle-aged vampire, father of Misty, one of the PC's. He left when she was four, and her brother was just born, and makes a reappearance when they are at a tavern a few sessions into the campaign. He cares for his daughter, although he never gives her any reason to believe he does. He works for Anka, the pharaoh as a right hand.
Him and Misty have a confrontation that is going to require the actor to have a powerful emotional turn. I'd need someone to can convey a variety of emotions.
He also canonically has a lower voice and a British accent so that is going to be required.

*Deceptive* Oh Misty..you know I didn't want to leave..I just had my reasons that's all..is that the kind of way you're going to speak to your father after all these years.

Malaña is a messenger of the gods and goddesses of every religion, bringing them together and informing them of anything going on in the below "normal" world, watching out for any "special" kinds of people that may present themselves.
While she is not a patron or a deity, she watches over the wizard from inside their head, and makes physical appearances during multiple occasions of the story. She has already had relations with one of the PC's, but you are NOT required to perform any NSFW scenes. It is just implied.
I imagine her to have a mature sounding voice, but not motherly, more like a military general kind of authority.
Her name also does have that Spanish accent to it.

*She turns around to face the party, their first meeting.* So, you were able to see this place, and you have the map. A group like you. Tell me, how did you manage to come into possession of such things?
*Authoritative* Aradara what are you willing to fight for? The reason you haven't bonded to the map yet is because you are willing to fight only for your sister. Otherwise you have sheltered yourself, you don't have a reason. What if she dies, what then?
Voice Actor
Mentira is a yellow dragon that is in the way of the players, and the treasure. While she herself does not guard the treasure itself, she guards the desert surrounding it, following the magic that the treasure emits.
She, much like the mummy queen, is deceptive, using her wits to outsmart her victims, as that is how she got her name.

Silas is Misty's 20 year old brother, who stayed back when she went out searching for a cure for her mother's illness, to take care of their mother Ana. Him and Misty have a lot of care and love for each other and were very close when they were growing up after their father left right after Silas was born.

Marissa is a half-elf cleric that is the potential love interest of one of the players currently, though it is subject to change. She has a bit of a sassy/flirtatious side to her which is something that Aradara, one of the PC's adores about her. She isn't afraid to speak her mind. Sometimes she wants to step in and put her nose where it doesn't belong to help people, but she has friends that always makes sure her hot-head doesn't get her into trouble sometimes. She travels with a group of other clerics and sorcerers, all half-elves, just like the PC twins Aradara and Lasrila. She may become a bigger part of the story later if Aradara chooses to persue her as the final love interest for her character.
You will NOT be asked to perform any NSFW scenes although things will be implied. I would prefer an 18+ actor.
She can either have an Ameican or British accent, I will listen to both options and see which I see more fit for her. So if you could, try a little bit of both!

*Worried after the players hadn't returned from the bathroom in a while. They look beaten mentally when she sees them.* "Where have you all been? Are you alright? You've been in there for..two hours..We were starting to worry something bad happened to you ."

Orlav is the bartender at the tavern that the players meet at during the beginning of the campaign. He does play a bigger role in the story later and is going to get his own side story, so he is a more of a MAIN-supporting role. He is also the potential love interest of one of the players.
If they do get together in the story, you will not be required to perform any NSFW scenes as we do not perform those during the actual game. Although thing will be implied. So I would prefer an 18+ actor.
There will be some more emotional scenes later on, so need someone who can depict a wide range of emotions such as sadness, anger, and yelling.
I see him more as a Scottish man, but I am not TOO picky with the accent on him. Although it would be preferred.

Atticus is the head guard that the party meets in the same oasis as Malaña. He is headstrong and kind of monotoned, as he takes his job very seriously. He has not yet shown up very much but will have a slightly bigger role later.
Vocal Range: Baritone to Bass.

Ana is Misty and Silas's mother. She is currently sick with an illness that nobody can figure out, and Misty has set off to search for a cure for her. She was originally married to Edric Vossen, but after he left, she never goes by her married name, and their children do not use that name either. She has a minor role starting off but has some episodes where there are flashbacks between her, Misty, and Silas where she will play a bigger role with more character development. So be prepared for more lines from her in the future!

Your father..you know he had his reasons..he's a piece of shit for those reasons..but they are reasons nonetheless as to why he left. And it would be better off if those reasons were taken to my grave.
