The Red Thread - Voice Actors needed!

Project Overview

The Red Thread is a fantasy, drama, and romance indie story (and hopefully! Future comic/animated series) based around the protagonists; Cassandra, Night, and Korrin. a priestess, a bounty hunter, and a demon slayer.

The story takes place in a fantasy world, within an unknown timeline. Demons, dragons, mythical creatures and more exist here. We start within a small village, in which Cassandra resides, with her parents; Father Alexander and Lady Scarlett, along with her younger sister; Lycynthia. One fated day, Cassandra catches wind of a dangerous figure circling the village, fatally injuring villagers, killing animals, and destroying crops. Cassandra, as the priestess of the village and with her father away, decides to take the matter into her own hands. From there, the twisted ties of the red thread of fate will guide her and the others through difficult challenges and battles, and straight to their paths of destiny! will they follow them? or..?

I am looking for:
- Cooperative and communicative individuals who are willing to express themselves and their concerns
- Good mic quality (it doesn't have to be fancy, as long as it's clear!)
- LOTS of expressions, don't be afraid to shout!

This story also contains a diverse amount of characters, and would be preferred to have a similar cast, or those comfortable to portray things such as lgbtq+ characters.   • A few updates and clarifications :)

    Hello all! i wanted to make an update to talk about some stuff and clarify a few things!

    One: I have made a few decisions, and will be contacting people soon! not all roles are taken, or fully developed yet, so don't worry!

    Three: We are in need of a staff team as well, if you are interested/experienced or know people interested/experienced in: art, writing, video editing, song writing, music composing, or anything of the like - send examples to my discord dm's or my separate project on here!     Finally, we also have character files for a deeper look at the characters you are interested in, and if you wish to redo auditions or understand them more before doing so!   • An update from the creator!

    Hi everyone! I wanted to come on here before i begin to decide anything to say thank you to everyone who has auditioned so far - this is a really hard choice with all the talented voices! I didn't expect so many people to be interested in my project, and it means so much to me that others are invested in my characters and storyline and want to be part of it.

    I will be adding more roles soon! Not all my characters for this story are fully developed just yet, so don't worry if you miss an opportunity!

    I also have auditions open for artists, writers, music composures/writers, and more being added! (mainly for the discord servers!)

    If you'd like to be part of that as well, i have a separate project open for those roles! There is no limit on what to audition for <3 (If you would rather send me references directly, my discord is listed below!)

    It may take me a while to decide, so i appreciate everyone's patience while i look over current auditions, and more to hopefully come!

Night is one of three protagonists in this series. He is a cruel bounty hunter, with no sense of morals. If something makes him money, or clears him from suspicion, he does it. The costs of others sacrifice doesn't bother him as long as he gets his way.

His true name and identity are unknown, only that he works for an organization, and has a prosthetic middle finger.

Korrin Leer - Protagonist

Korrin is the third protagonist of this series. She is one of the best demon slayers in her village, and being the second female in the village history to do so, faces ridicule. She has expectations constantly pushed onto her that others don't. she is determined to exceed those expectations, and probably curse out whoever placed them once she achieves.

Her younger brother, Axel, is the only one around who truthfully supports her, covering for her at every turn and being there to help when she needs it. Although, not without a little teasing.

Lycynthia is a supporting character, and the younger sister of Cassandra, a shy and gloomy girl with a hard time learning the techniques her elder sister so easily mastered. she feels she lives within her sisters shadow in the moments she isn’t there, but Cassandra always makes her feel like her own person, with her own strengths.

She and her best friend, Carmen, always take time with each other to practice on their own, as just the two of them.

Axel (pronounced Axe - El) is a supporting character in the series, as well as Korrin’s younger brother. He has a knack for talking his way out of trouble, and lying to his parents about what his sister does. He covers for her at every turn, sticks up for her when needed. And ultimately makes fun of her for everything.

He too is a demon slayer, fighting alongside his sister whenever she's allowed to go. She's a better demon slayer than he is, but he'd never say that to her.

Carmen is a supporting character in the series, and the head villagers granddaughter. Carmen is a shy and compassionate girl, with a "fights are wrong" attitude. She tends to housework and fetching herbs and vegetables for food, medicine, and the like. She is a natural peacekeeper almost always, but can be completely ruthless when needed.

She enjoys sparring with Lycynthia in her free time, it helps her best friend feel better, and gives her more time with the girl she loves.

Hope is a supporting character in the series, she comes from a long line of priests, priestesses, monks, and all the like of divinity and purity. She, however, was born with a curse, something no one can purify. She has the ability to harness her own magic, and wild magic within the world, but possessing it can take a great toll on her life.

She lives in a once abandoned house in the woods, covered in leaves and sticks as a way of camouflage from the outside world, to find her? You have to really look.

Sebastian is a supporting character in the series. After his parents left him a note and mysteriously vanished 4 years ago, Sebastian has become the primary caretaker of his younger sister, Lillianna, and the only worker within the village bakery. He’s quiet, kept to himself most times, but adores those he considers close, and would do anything for them.
