Project Overview

The Podcast: three girls, two devastating secrets, one show


The Podcast is about three freshmen girls who have decided to start a podcast to replace the mandatory broadcast. The three are extremelyou different, but best friends. Lyla, the headstrong boss, Adrian, the less-aggressive natural leader, and Jaxton, the peacemaker. All three with secrets to keep.
Every episode, there will be three guest callers (legitimate guests playing as themselves, only loosely scripted) and a guest star (more heavily scripted).
All three girls need to be able to sing.

You should be able to show at least one picture of yourself for the cover image and need Skype. Also you should be comfortable with swearing and controversial topics.

the girl who had the idea to make a podcast in the first place who loves journalism and all things having to do with public speaking. During the episodes, she gets more and more reclusive. Will she crack under the pressure and letting her secret spill?

the girl who originally came up with the idea of a podcast. She’s snappy, has a short temper and is almost never seen without something blue on. Extremely judgemental, but Jaxton’s closest friend since diapers, Lyla has a subtle issue with being a control-freak.

  • Now, as you know, I'm first chair trombone, so I like to keep up with all of the band activities and I'm happy to say that jazz band auditions have been released.

the peace maker of the three girls, she loves making others happy no matter what happens to her in the process. She has some insecurities, but tries not to let them interfere with her day-to-day life. She lives for dance and loves singing.
