'The Ones Left' - A Global Warming Audio Drama [Recasting]
Project Overview
'The Ones Left' - A Global Warming Audio Book
Over a year ago we started work on a large scale Minecraft Movie. When that didn't go to plan we re-envisioned this idea into a different medium; an Audio Book! This is a recasting of some characters whose lines were lost or were not cast well previously.
We are working to recreate our story in an Audio Book, and auditions are now open again! The project involves something a little bigger and more meaningful than a general story. We are working on an audio book about the huge problem we're facing right now - global warming. Our aim is to raise awareness and show the problems that we don't think about on a daily basis.
The movie will follow the story of a few characters living in the year 2100, where the world has been devoured by the consequences of climate change. It will be a great way to get yourself out there, and also something important that you worked on that you could display to others in the future if need be. It's also an amazing message to work for and a great thing to be proud of.

Millie Yousif is a mixed-race American woman, age 27. She has light brown skin and brown hair. Her eyes are a mix of hazel and green.
Millie is the main character of the film. She is the past leader of the large research group whose mission was to reverse the effects of global warming. After its failure, Millie was fired due to her inability to give up. She continued to do research alone, until she found a lead that led to her building a new team to venture out and give saving the world one last try.
Personality:
Millie strives for her goals and is very determined to fulfill them. She doesn't give up on herself or her team, and is a very good leader. Her leadership earns her the respect of her co-workers, however her stubbornness and denial to give up ultimately costs her huge sacrifices.
Requirements:
You need to have a good range. Millie's character requires confidence, emotion (including general happiness, excitement, heartbreak and anger), and most importantly a good, leading voice. WARNING: This role may contain swearing.

[You are making a speech in front of an important audience](confidently)Humans aren't the only ones who live on this planet. We share the Earth with millions and millions of different living beings. We have to stop caring about just ourselves, but look after these helpless creatures.
[You are in an argument](annoyed)Don't call me dear. If you aren't willing to risk something in your 'ever-so-sweet-life' with no contact to any human being, only to sit there in this rotten hut and watch as all animals around us die - then so be it!
[Someone has just told you a deep secret](shocked and upset)I- I'm sorry... I didn't know. (pauses)I'm so sorry.

(slightly sorry, but emotionless) It's no longer possible, Millie. We can't sustain it... After considering the other departments, we only have money for one research group, and that's taken by the food research team.
(saddened) Millie, that sounds promising... But what do you want me to do? If the government says one thing, then that's what must be followed...
(starting to get angry) No, Millie, impossible! The government has banned all travel there. There's no way I can help you with transportation - and the MILITARY - do you realize how little men we have, and how many we need during these times?
The Attorney General is high up in the Governmental Hierarchy, and is very careless of anyone below her. She has a gritty, emotionless, and somewhat sarcastic voice.
Requirements:
Have a somewhat mean, gritty voice. Must be able to raise it to sound angry. WARNING: This role contains swearing.
