The One and Only Flower in the World (Re-Auditions)
Project Overview
The One and Only Flower in the World takes place in the world of Iride, where basically anything you say and do will be used against you. Every nation in Iride follows a set of ideals that must be upheld within their grounds and if anybody doesn't fit a certain mold, whether for said nation or Iride overall, chances are they could face punishment or even death. Q.P. is a 12-year-old boy who isn't treated kindly by the other denizens due to his girlish appearance and shy mannerisms, all except his caretaker Atsushi, who entrusts him with a mysterious flower known as the Prismflower as a sign of their special bond. Unfortunately, their happy times are cut short when Atsushi gets taken away and Q.P. is all alone again. With the Prismflower as his only sign of hope, Q.P. now begins his search for Atsushi and the Prismflower petal bearers.
The One and Only Flower in the World is a visual novel project I worked on back in 2018 and released in 2022. I've since decided to update the visual novel, including recasting some of the voices in the project. Here's where I'll open re-auditions for said roles.
Character Role Guidelines
Character Name: Self-explanatory.
Character Description: How does the character look?
Character Personality: How does the character act?
Voice Type: What kind of voice should the character have?
Voice Range: How high, mid, or low should the character’s voice be?
Age Role: Appearance-wise, is the character a child, teen, or adult?
Alignment: Is the character good, neutral, and evil?
Voice Reference: Who should the character sound closest to?
Requirements/Recommendations: Specific traits needed for the character’s voice.
Don’t forget to put in your Discord when placing your auditions, in case you get cast.

Character Name: COCO Leader
Character Description: An androgynous doll-like being who resides in a hidden region eponymously known as the COCO Woods. He’s the only one of his kind who can speak, think, and act on his own will.
Character Personality: Helpful and wise. Acts like a mentor to Q.P. and deeply cares about the other COCOs.
Voice Type: A soft yet firm and mature voice. Somewhat like a parent or teacher.
Voice Range: Mid
Age Role: Late Teen
Alignment: Good
Voice Reference: The Cironielian Chrysalis Eater's disguised form from Teen Titans.
Requirements/Recommendations: Shouldn't sound too masculine nor feminine. Somewhere in between or a combination of both. This character will have lots of dialogue.

Character Name: Keki
Character Description: One of the three Cobalt Brothers who serves Prinsess Tårta, ruler of Domovoi Kingdom. He specifically works in the Cake Mines at the Neapolitan Mountains.
Character Personality: Excitable and dedicated to his work like his other brothers. Hates getting dirty.
Voice Range: High
Age Role: Child
Alignment: Good
Voice Type: A shrill childlike voice. Texture is fine.
Voice Reference: Something similar to Timmy Turner from Fairly Odd Parents, in terms of pitch and texture.
Requirements/Recommendations: Should have good timing, since the lines for this character will overlap with other ones.

Character Name: Cauli
Character Description: The head messenger who serves Prinsess Tårta, ruler of Domovoi Kingdom. Despite being one of the shortest Cobalts, they often take charge whenever Tårta is absent.
Character Personality: Mature and no-nonsense, but stubborn to a fault. Has a slight teasing/taunting side.
Voice Type: A somewhat deep and sultry voice. When shouting, the voice should sound slightly higher but firmer.
Voice Range: Mid-Low
Age Role: Child
Alignment: Good
Voice Reference: H'aanit from Octopath Traveler without the Old English dialect.
Requirements/Recommendations: Should sound neither masculine nor feminine.

Character Description: One of the chambermaids who serves Prinsess Tårta, ruler of Domovoi Kingdom. The older twin sister of Flurri.
Character Personality: Skittish and a bit of a klutz. Despite her overly emotional ways, she's incredibly observant.
Voice Type: A somewhat artificially high voice. Screams and cries a lot.
Voice Range: High
Age Role: Child
Alignment: Good
Voice Reference: Mignon Beart from King of Fighters.
Requirements/Recommendations: Even though she screams and cries a lot, she shouldn't sound obnoxious.

Character Personality: Snarky and nihilistic. Enjoys taunting the emotionally weak, but is sensible and will listen to reason.
Voice Type: A solid and firm boyish voice.
Voice Range: Mid-High
Age Role: Child
Alignment: Neutral Good
Voice Reference: Boreas from Xenoblade 2.
Requirements/Recommendations: Must be able to convincingly switch between villainous and teasing to serious and understanding.

Character Description: A black pony who works in a laboratory that specializes in researching exotic flowers and plants. Has an older twin sister named Sweet Memories.
Character Personality: Intelligent yet easily excitable. Tends to get sidetracked real easily.
Voice Type: A high yet husky or raspy voice with some texture.
Voice Range: Mid-High
Age Role: Young Adult
Alignment: Good
Voice Reference: Twinkle Twirl from My Little Pony and/or Hahli from Bionicle.
Requirements/Recommendations: Should sound more like a teenager, despite being an adult.

Character Description: A nekomata shopkeeper who sells awfully strange wares with stranger purposes. Likes to show off at the most inappropriate times.
Character Personality: Greedy and two-faced. Mainly puts on an overly cutesy and cheery façade when in public and becomes creepy and aggressive when rejected.
Voice Type: An obnoxiously high-pitched and cutesy voice as well as a scary and monstrous voice.
Voice Range: Mid-High
Age Role: Child?
Alignment: Neutral
Voice Reference: Most cat/catlike characters such as Felicia from Darkstalkers and Taokaka from BlazBlue.
Requirements/Recommendations: Feel free to make this character sound as annoying as possible.

Voice Type: A young teenage voice that occasionally squeaks when she feels a strong emotion (i.e. anger, shock).
Voice Range: Mid
Age Role: Early Teen
Alignment: Neutral Good
Voice Reference: Gaz from Invader ZIM
Requirements/Recommendations: Slight texture is fine.

Character Personality: Gentle yet strong-willed. Prioritizes his objective and Q.P.'s protection over anything else, including his own life.
Voice Type: A soft childlike and feminine voice.
Voice Range: High
Age Role: Child
Alignment: Good
Voice Reference: Sophie from Tales of Graces
Requirements/Recommendations: Shouldn’t sound too boyish. This character will have lots of dialogue.

Character Description: An androgynous well-dressed youth who is the leader of an organization known as DAEVA. Hides their wrinkles with a perpetual glare.
Character Personality: Straight-laced dictator. Despises children.
Voice Type: A strong and raspy commanding voice. Texture is absolutely fine.
Voice Range: Mid-Low
Age Role: Teen
Alignment: Evil
Voice Reference: A cross between Pit in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Rolf in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. For a better idea, listen to the many male characters voiced by Lani Minella in the Backyard Sports 2002-2004.
Requirements/Recommendations: Should lean more towards the masculine/boyish side. This character has lots of yelling lines.

Voice Type: An airy childlike voice.
Voice Range: High
Age Role: Child
Alignment: Evil
Voice Reference: Hongbi from Cloud Bread
Requirements/Recommendations: Should sound neither masculine nor feminine. Should be able to maintain the airiness when shouting.
