The Ninth Kingdom: Hidden Cracks
Project Overview
Hey! I'm looking for a few voices and a musician able to participate in making my animatic series a reality. The name of series is "The Ninth Kingdom," and it's about a trio of siblings that find themselves lost in a mystery where things aren't quite right in the heart of the kingdom- but looking into them might be more dangerous than they ever would've thought possible. Maybe the phrase "curiosity killed the cat" would be "curiosity killed the wolf" in the land of Afurenia.

Also, quick note: There are LGBTQ characters in this series! If this makes you unsafe to participate in a series with these themes please do not apply! I do not wish for anyone to be in danger from my series.

Alphajaw Maros (Pronounced Alpha_Jaw MaR-Oh-ss) (Think: Maros is pronounced like "tomorrow's" but without the "to" in the front)
He is an adult male (middle aged, but slightly younger adult voices are considered!) known to be a very caring, calm soul that has become known throughout everyone in the palace as the "palace father," even to the queen herself.
Please note he becomes very prominent for a time in season 1, then will appear again later in flashbacks on occasion. (Also looking for understudies, which will not take away chances for other full roles if you're given an understudy role!)
ALSO!! Please note he is LGBTQ+.
Female actresses ARE allowed to voice male characters and vice versa!
[friendly, in greeting] "Bitejaw Soot! A word, please."
[excited, joyful] "That's wonderful, Lotus! I'm so happy for you!"
Badger is a young male, (anything between preteen to an older teen voice is fine!) He is the typical clique "jock" and ringleader of a group of bullies, known to be cruel, unjust, aggressive, arrogant, rude, and has an attitude.
Please know he will be very prominent for much of the series, so I'll need someone who is able to commit for a long period of time! (I am accepting understudies as well; which does not impede the ability to gain a full role as another character in the series!)

Betajaw Marsh (Pronoucned "Beta_Jaw Marsh") is a young adult and known to be friendly, very kind, and patient. She is close friends with the main trio's mother, and appears a decent bit.
Please note she will be very prominent throughout season 1, and will appear in episode 2. You may receive lines for her within a month of receiving this role. (Also looking for understudies, which will not keep you from receiving a full role of another character. Understudies may be understudies for other characters as well!)

[Announcing to a crowd] "Welcome All! Tonight we gather under the Moon of Lupine to see the pups of the HillCrest Region choose their path."
[Happily, Friendly and Kind] "Ah, my old friend! How have you been??"
King Pine is known as the iron claw leader, ready to face any challenge with as much aggression as it takes to finish what needs to be done, all the way to the end.
He will be fairly prominent throughout the series, so please be sure that you can hold up some commitment for this role, but let me know as soon as you can if something happens that will keep you from being able to do his voice if called upon!

[stern, fierce, frustrated] "Prince Lavender! You will obey your mother's orders!"
[sad, but calm and collected, then fierce ] "We have lost an amazing soldier today. Rest assured we will be searching for the murder and they will be properly punished for their crimes!"
There are LOTS of characters throughout this series, and this series is prospected to be very long! It's no doubt that one day in the middle of the series a voice actor/actress will have to leave the project due to circumstances beyond their control, or just not be able to voice their character for a certain amount of time.
When auditioning, with a demo reel, please add a quick snip bit somewhere in your submission about your credit name, what level of role importance you wish for, and if you'd be okay voicing a slightly less important or higher important role if it arises.
Please keep in mind I may call upon you to have a permanent spot as a character, so please let me know asap if you can no longer be an understudy!

I'm looking for a song for the theme, at least 45 seconds long.
The tone/emotion can be any mix of the following: Adventurous, exciting, suspenseful, mysterious (or even add your own elements as well if you wish! Please be as creative as you'd like!)
