The last meeting (FINISHED)

Project Overview

A short pensive story about the thoughts and feelings of the last two people left in a world, and the moment that they finally meet.

I intend to turn this into a short audio story for youtube (If you want to see an example of what it would look like you can see one of my previous project "Project 1-26-1", though this story is much shorter)

The script is only 3 pages long and half of that are lines for the other character so this should be a very short and very easy project that you could finish pretty quickly, probably good for if you're looking for something that finishes quickly to put into the "completed work" section of your profile or build up some experience

(I created the draft for this casting call a long time ago but I'm only opening it now after having fixed some faulty equipment, I am going to play the male survivor myself and am looking for someone to play the female survivor, I will credit you in the ending of the video)

    I have decided to open a role for an artist to volunteer for this project if they want to You don't need to be especially skilled to apply, even a simple series of low detail sketches depicting moments from the story would be fine I aim to wrap things up with the recording fairly quickly but I'll be open to re-uploading the story again later with the images included. I look forward to hearing from anyone interested, and I'll credit you for your work at the end of the video

A gloomy survivor who with all the resources needed to live for a whole lifetime... but who wonders if there's any reason to do so

  • Once again it is a cold day, they are so common I hardly notice a difference anymore, my robes trail at my feet as I walk once again through the desolate city.

  • I am alone in this place, I have been here long enough to be sure, I honestly don’t know how I’d feel if I ever saw someone again…

  • I close my eyes, I once cried in these times, my heart longing endlessly for the return of days past, but now no longer, I accept what I am, the last life in a desolate world

A religious girl who has taken to wandering the empty world with a mixture of hope and curiosity, wondering if she will ever find another human being

  • The sunrise was beautiful once… it saddens me now… It just reminds me of everything that once was… the amazing world we took for granted… a paradise we never knew we had…

  • I hope my God that someday I will find someone… that if someone is out there you will send me their way… I don’t know if you still watch us but still I will pray even if the words echo forever, if they sink under stones, or they fade in the air, then still they were spoken…

  • I want to sing… but memory of all songs faded long ago… and so I just sit there… with my arms to the sky… I don’t know how long I was there, I don’t know how long I wished for a melody but the rain starts to fall…
