The Hidden Factor
The Hidden Factor is an original coming-of-age sports audio drama about purpose, identity, and the people who make a team successful without ever stepping into the spotlight.
The story follows Daniel Bragshire, a sophomore basketball manager who struggles with perfectionism and imposter syndrome. As a new basketball season begins, Daniel quietly works behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. While the players fight for victories on the court, Daniel begins asking a different question:
Who are you when no one gives you a purpose?
As the season unfolds, friendships are tested, confidence is challenged, and unexpected events force everyone to grow—especially Daniel.
We're looking for passionate voice actors and crew members who want to help bring this original series to life. Whether you're a voice actor, audio engineer, composer, artist, or writer, we'd love to have you on the team.
This is intended to be a long-term project, so if you're interested in returning for future episodes, we'd love to hear your audition.

Voice Actor
Daniel Bragshire is a 15–16-year-old sophomore basketball manager for the Woodchucks. Although he was never a standout player himself, Daniel found purpose in helping his team from the sidelines. He is organized, dedicated, and always willing to do whatever needs to be done, but he struggles with perfectionism and feeling like he is only valuable when he has a purpose. Daniel cares deeply about his teammates and often puts pressure on himself to make sure everything goes right.

Coach Garrett Parker is a 30–35-year-old assistant coach who has spent several years around the Woodchucks basketball program. He is calm, patient, and observant, always noticing the small details others miss. Garrett cares deeply about his players and especially supports Daniel, recognizing his dedication while helping him work through his perfectionism. He believes mistakes are part of growth and values effort, teamwork, and character over resul

Voice Actor
Jacob Reidsmann is a 17–18-year-old senior and one of the Woodchucks' team captains. He is a reliable, responsible, and experienced leader who has been with the program through both its successes and struggles. Jacob is not the loudest person on the team, but he leads through his actions and supports his teammates when they need help. He often acts as a mentor to younger players and is one of the first people to notice when Daniel is putting too much pressure on himself.

Ulysses Moore is a 15–16-year-old sophomore and one of the Woodchucks' team captains. He is one of the most talented players on the team, known for his confidence, athletic ability, and competitive mindset. Ulysses is a natural leader on the court, but he can sometimes be overly confident and needs to learn that leadership is about more than talent. Despite his competitive attitude, he genuinely wants his teammates to succeed and encourages others to improve.

Voice Actor
William Larson is a 16–17-year-old junior who serves as the team's comic relief. He loves making jokes, drawing attention to himself, and keeping the mood light, even during difficult practices. While he often complains and acts overconfident, William genuinely cares about his teammates and brings energy to the locker room. Beneath his humor is a player who wants more playing time and hopes to prove he belongs on the court.

Tyler Davison is a 14–15-year-old freshman and the newest player on the Woodchucks varsity basketball team. Quiet, humble, and a little nervous, Tyler is still trying to find his place among older teammates. Although he lacks confidence at first, he has natural talent and a strong work ethic. Throughout the series, he gradually grows into a more confident player and teammate.

Coach Connelly is a 45–55-year-old head basketball coach who expects discipline, effort, and teamwork from every player. He has years of coaching experience and knows how to balance seriousness with humor. While he can be firm and demanding during practice, he also recognizes hard work and isn't afraid to joke with his players. Above all, Connelly wants to help his team improve, both on and off the court.

She isn't trying to solve all of his problems—she simply wants to understand him and be there for him.

He asks straightforward questions that encourage Daniel to think without pushing him toward a specific answer. He cares deeply about his son but shows it in a calm, down-to-earth way.

Looking for a writer to help develop future episodes, dialogue, and character interactions while keeping the story consistent. The main story and creative direction are already established, but collaboration is welcome to strengthen scenes, pacing, and character development.

Musician
Looking for a composer to create an original soundtrack for The Hidden Factor. Music will be used for the opening theme, scene transitions, emotional moments, and end credits. The goal is to create a soundtrack that feels hopeful, reflective, and inspiring while supporting the story without overpowering it.
Requirements:
Experience composing original music
Able to produce high-quality audio files
Open to collaboration and feedback
Any style is welcome, though orchestral, piano, acoustic, and cinematic influences are encouraged
