The Diamond Reptile (animated pilot) (SUPPORTING VA’S WANTED)
Project Overview
Hi 🤗 thanks for checking out my lil project here. We’re in need of VA’s to play supporting characters and background peeps, information about these characters is in the audition info labeled “background cast and supporting characters” The Diamond Reptile is a story driven 2D animated dark comedy. In a futuristic technologically advanced world that’s controlled by humans and one mega monopolistic corporation after an explosion that wiped out 98% of the world, Teenage anthropomorphic animal thieves Lewis, Jonas, Maddi, and arty want justice and vengeance for there animal brethren after all different animal species were split off by walls in different section of there city anamalia and forced to follow a communistic routine for the rest of there lives that undermine and restrict freedom for all animal beings, most facing discrimination and death all controlled by the humans who want perfection and control. But when the thieving teens break into a known landmark of anamalia where there technology is made, they find a hidden secret that questions all beliefs they may have had about there world, a new animal, a reptile. Now there on the run from a rouge drone that’s hunting the reptile, it’s up to them to unravel mysteries about this reptile and find a way to stop the rouge ai drone. But ash isn’t a normal reptile, there’s something off about him, something almost paranormal, as it seems he can imagine a new filter around the world and control his surroundings, seemingly innocent at first, but the more this turtle can see the horrors of the real world, his mind starts to bend and become more dark, a rouge ai drone may not be the only thing these teens have to watch out for.

Hi 👋 we’re in need of some additional voices for supporting and background characters, 3 types of voices are wanted,
- firstly the worker drones, these are mass produced robots that take over jobs and helps out the humans whenever they can, some are even patrol drones who help out the police unit in capturing and enforcing the laws and regulations of the city, all the robots come in different shapes and sizes but they all sound the exact same, despite them being robots with no human feelings or emotions, they should still have a bit of variation in there voice, my personal headcannon voice for them is the hazmat wearing guys from monsters inc (if your familiar) using a voice filter would help a lot just no ai please
- The police dogs or K-9 unit are the enforcers of the city, they patrol every part of the animal world and make sure everyone’s up to code and is following the laws, there are ultra violent and super bitter towards the cats (basically anyone who isn’t a dog) they should have gruff and tough sounding voices similar to an average muscleheaded police officer
- The criminals of catswell are very shady people, some of them are drug dealers, gangsters, thieves, hitman, or involved in mafia groups. They all hide out in the shadows away from the police unit and the enforcers of the humans city, they start there own businesses in killing people or selling things not known in there part of the city, they should also sound gruff and tough, but can also have different variations in there voices, most of these guys are inspired from Italian mafia and pirate gangs so different accents similar to those categories in your auditions are also encouraged

(WORKER ROBOTS): I am a worker drone, designed and mass produced in the innovation center by AQ all throughout the city to help make the world a better place, we also act as patrol drones to help the K-9 unit track down any animals caught going against the AQ authority. We are AQ approved and ready to help whenever we can
Hi thanks for looking at my lil project here, Lewis is a brooding and dark 18 year old green cat character who is easily annoyed and angered, he’s a member of the scrats and best friends with the leader Jonas, he’s got an emo and tough personality and constantly feels like he has to babysit Jonas to make sure he doesn’t bite off more than he can chew and get everyone killed. He never lets his guard down making sure everyone knows he’s a confident and mysterious individual not to be crossed with and is always keeping a distant personality but still making sure to help out his teammates. Think of like a shadow the hedgehog or John wick type of character, go for a low tone brooding teenager. Any age 16+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above, sound quality must be good, you don’t have to have high end microphone equipment, I just want it to sound passable enough, when in this role I’ll be communicating with you via discord and sending you doses of the full script, so make sure you leave your discord in the description 😊 you will be paid a total of 300 dollars ONLY for your work, 35 cents each word read, NOT including screams or gasps or any other reactions, the script is split it up into 4 parts, all parts put together totals to 300 dollars which will be paid through CashApp, make sure you have a CashApp account as that is the ONLY way I’ll be able to pay, there will also be deadlines to parts of scripts usually 2-3 weeks or a month though could be shorter or longer depending on the part, though we can negotiate depending on how busy you are in your personal life. cant wait to work with you in bringing this character to life 🙂

(Brooding and mellow) AQ … the biggest group of asshole humans you will ever meet, they run just about every aspect of our lives … thanks but I’d rather kill a man with ease and convenience than having to make a big clown show about it … that’s how we roll kid
(Confident) we aren’t gonna fuck this up this time Jonas … if we do this we play it smart … arty quit being a scared little shit, that kind of crap is what’s gonna get us killed … Maddi I love the confidence but maybe next time don’t act like a psychotic moron next time … this is who we are kid … this is the real world … it’s all one big fight to survive, so we fight back
Hi 😎 thanks for checking out my lil project here, ash is a simple and innocent little guy who’s mostly confused about his surroundings, as the pilot progresses he starts to lose that innocence and turns into a more anxious and serious character who’s fearful about where his mind will take him. Preferably looking for a voice actor who can give an innocent and humble tone but also a fearful and anxious tone, an anxiety ridden version of the same character, who can sound genuinely scared and scream. I imagine this character sounding like hey Arnold or a Steven universe character, or like a mellow version of serial designation N (from murder drones of your familiar) try going for these sounding characters, remember that I’m NOT looking for an overly joyous and happy loud tone, merely a quite and humble nice tone, think of like paddington or Winnie the Pooh, but sounding like a teen lol, but again can also sound more serious and scared. I’m from another world, it’s a beautiful place, everything’s nice and cozy … at least I think it was … wait …. I can’t, seem to remember, did I ever have a home (slowly sound scared) what’s going on, who are you people really, where am I?

Hi 👋 thanks for looking at this voice actor roles 😎 Maddi is an 18 years old British dog girl who loves getting in fights and causing chaos with everything she does. She has a wild and tough, but at the same time a sly and mischievous personality, when it comes to missions and heists she is eager to cause as much murder as possible, she loves murdering and beating the snot out of anybody in her way, which comes at her advantage and dismay, as in fights she dominates, but when it comes to being stealthy and quite she mostly fumbles the bag with her anxiety getting the best of her, she would rather set off a thousand bombs instead and be done with it. Beyond the unhinged murderous side of her she has a sly and mischievous personality also, whether she’s chatting with her friends or toying with her enemies before going in for the kill. One last thing is Maddi has an UK accent with British slang like ‘come on love’ and ‘bloody hell’ so we’re preferably looking for an actor with a more UK sounding accent. I’d imagine her with a middle ground kind of sultry sound (think like loona from helluva boss of your familiar) and when she becomes unhinged her tone should get a lil bit higher and louder. Any age 15+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above. Sound quality must be good, you don’t have to have high end microphone equipment, I just want it to sound passible enough. Hi 🙃 thanks for looking at the music composer role 😎, the music in the pilot will have a mix between an acoustic rock and an existential uncanny “horror” kind of music. If your familiar with “liminal space” the music that goes with it is this supposedly happy but slow creepy and unsettling songs that really sell the isolation and feeling of being alone and scared, that and just straight up horror music. we also need a softer acoustic roots rock music and more of a slow piano jazz. Some cinematic music will also be needed from time to time. When in this role I’ll be communicating with you about how a song should sound with a scene via discord, and it’s your job to make it come to life! And better make a scene pop or feel alive.
