Hi! 😊 thanks for looking at the animator role, there’s only two specific things you’ll be animating in this position. In the pilot there are some gunfights and a creepy robot monster with spider legs that crawls around chasing the main characters, that’s were you come in! I’m in need of an animator that can make fluent fight scenes, most of the fights you’ll be working on are gunfights and some are just flat out fist fights. Also you’ll be having a large focus on monster movement, specifically movement of creepy spider legs. you’ll also be working on a few other scenes, but those are the 2 MAIN things I’ll need you to be actually good at, I’ll be doing the rest of the animating so no stress 😎! When in this role I’ll be giving you storyboards and animatics about what a scene is supposed to look like via discord, and it’s your job to make it come to life! maybe even spice some things up if you think it’ll look better! I’ll be offering 400$ dollars for all your work, BUT think of that as more of a bidding then anything because IF this pilot ends up getting any good traction, I will pay more! Hi 😎 thanks for looking at the background artist role 😊 as the description said, the pilot takes place in a huge futuristic city with floating islands that have neighborhoods on top, weirdly patterned skyscrapers and buildings of different shapes hanging above ground, the city is split by walls into four sections, each having varying looks, but there all gonna have the same art style. The background art will be very sketchy and almost colored pencil like, if you’ve ever seen ramshackle (another YouTube animated pilot) that’s a pretty similar idea  to how this pilots backgrounds gonna look, except a lil more color. The section of the city where 99% of the pilot takes place is very poor and almost looks like a small town but still very crowded with buildings and structures, it’s a section of the city that gets lil attention from the richer people and everyone there is struggling for money. the buildings will be tall and have muted colors, there’ll be some tents and lil shop standees where the citizens will try selling stuff for any lil money they can rake in, and the sky will almost be a bright yellow. There’s a very specific way I want all the buildings and islands and streets to look, but for now make sure to submit a 2D illustration of some poverty stricken city backgrounds with the sketchy style I described above and I’ll see if you qualify 🙃, you won’t be working on ALL the backgrounds keep in my mind, you’ll mostly be doing Ariel shots, I’ll be working on most of the backgrounds so no stress 😎 when in this role I’ll be interacting and sending you design sketches of the backgrounds via discord, and you’ll be bringing it to life! Hi 😎 thanks for looking at the 3D background artist and animator role 🙃 the 3D in this pilot is very important but will be scarcely used, as this will be where most of the “dark stuff” will come from, this role requires you to design some supposed happy and overly colorful characters and worlds but with a very uncanny and almost off putting liminal space vibe, the 3D unsettling and liminal space worlds are supposed to represent the main characters, ash’s, vision of the world before he starts to see the horror of it all as his innocence slowly breaks, with his vision getting darker the 3D world will also start to get more uncanny and more disturbing. Animation is also important, ash will also start to see creatures and demon things in his world, you’ll be designing and animating disturbing creatures moving around and giving ash (and the audience 😏) a big ol’ scare 😬, you’ll be having a huge emphasis on horror. when in this role ill be sending the design sketches of the creatures and liminal world via discord, and you’ll be bringing it to life 😊! I’d prefer you use a basic 3D animating software like blender, just so your not wasting much money on 3D stuff, the 3D will be an important part in the pilot but it’ll be very scarcely used, I’ll be offering 200 $ dollars for all your work + IF this pilot ends up getting any good traction, I will pay more based in the income the pilot makes! Hi 🙃 thanks for looking at the music composer role 😎, the music in the pilot will have a mix between an instrumental jazzy beat, and an existential uncanny “horror” kind of music. If your familiar with “liminal space” the music that goes with it is this supposedly happy but slow creepy and unsettling songs that really sell the isolation and feeling of being alone and scared, you’ll be having a large focus on THAT kind of music when the main character, ash’s, happy vision of the world slowly breaks and things start getting more disturbing as he starts feeling alone and isolated. As his innocence shatters more, and things inside and outside of his imagination get more disturbing, the songs will grow to this straight up horror music 😬 when we’re not seeing the main character’s nightmares, the music will jump to this jazzy guitar beat as we’re now following his new crime spreeing street rat friends, sometimes it’s fast paced jazz music, usually when there being chased by patrol or committing a crime, or it’s a slow piano jazz, when there just walking and talking to each other. When in this role I’ll be communicating with you about how a song should sound with a scene via discord, and it’s your job to make it come to life! And better make a scene pop or feel alive. Hi 🤗 thanks for looking at the voice actor roles 😎 Ash is the main character, so he’s very important, he’s a scrawny lil 16 year old turtle dude who’s never experienced or seen any of the negative aspects of life like depression, murder, loss, and cynicism, making him a very soft spoken innocent character. With his strange supernatural ability to envision and sometimes manipulate the world around him, (also making him a dangerous person) he’ll be seeing the demons of his mind start to show and ash will start growing into a more scared and anxious character who’ll discover his superficial world was a lie, and now has to face the cynical and darkness of the real world. With all that being said this character will have a mix between a soft spoken sweet, quite and innocent character who can do no wrong, to a more anxious and outspoken guy who’s stressed 90% of the time. in my head cannon he sounds like a very soft spoken hey Arnold or Steven universe kind of guy if your familiar, if you’ve ever seen gravity falls then i sometimes imagine him with dipper pines voice, you know very light, so try going for that kind of character 🙃 any age 13+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above. Hi 😊 thanks for looking at the voice actor roles, 😎 Lewis is kind of like the second main character, he’s an 18 year old green cat who’s part of the scrat gang, he’s a very mysterious loner kind of person, always keeping to himself but also being the one who takes responsibility to keep the scrats from doing something stupid or getting themselves killed. He’s very good with guns and murdering and other heist stuff they do, but always try’s to keep things as lowkey and un-alarming as possible (like what a heist is supposed to be) much to most of the scrats dismay. His best friend is Jonas, who he always jokes with but is the guy who Lewis has to make sure doesn’t get him and everyone else killed most of the time, although in this pilot he seems to be shrugging everyone else off more than he usually does, it’s clear he has some secrets up his sleeve that make him more of a mysterious character, the pilot won’t exploring that though but what it does explore is his relationship with ash. Ash is an innocent little guy who’s woken up in a dangerous and cynical city where he pretty much learns what the worlds really like (more about this characters in the “ash” role) everyone is annoyed by ash and his optimism including Lewis at first, but throughout the film he seems to have grown a soft spot for him. He starts to feel a little bad about what he’s going through and sometimes tries to protect him, I won’t say too much but it looks like him and ash are on the road to being good friends. Lewis is a loner guy so my head cannon for him sounds like a deep and low energy teenage voice. any age 13+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above. Jonas is an 18 year old orange anthropomorphic cat who loves gambling, money, heists and guns, and most importantly sticking it up to the privileged humans who make their lives harder. He considers himself a professional con man who gets his way by lying or just pointing a gun at someone, all with a smirky and charismatic tone. He’s a bit of an asshole who will do or say anything jerky just to have the feeling of fun, which will clash with ash’s (main character) sweet and innocent personality. Jonas has a strong and passionate hatred towards the humans and how they treat the underprivileged cats, so he will do anything at all to spite them and give justice to his fellow people. He loves doing heists and always plans these elaborate schemes to either steal, break in, or just straight up murder, mostly with anything human related though sometimes just with people he hates, sometimes he gets carried away when planning a heist which is where Lewis (his best friend) will usually sort out and organize his crazy plans to make sure he doesn’t bite off more than he can chew and get all his friends in danger. In my head cannon Jonas sounds a lot like Jax (from the amazing digital circus if your not familiar) some low and sleazy sounding teen like that, so think about that when auditioning 🙃 any age 13+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above. Hi 😎 thanks for looking at the voice actor roles 🤗 arty is an 18 year old anthropomorphic dog who’s very smart with codes and hacking high tech computer gadgets made by the humans, and is also great at tracking and identifying scents with his nose, this all helps the scrat gang with there heists and to complete more crimes as a further means to protest on the rich people. Arty may be skilled with codes and hang out with the scrats to cause more eye catching protest, but he isn’t exactly a “cool” person, he’s very shy and introverted when he’s NOT with his friends, even when he is though his friends tend to make fun of him and he’s usually the but of every joke cause sometimes he can be a little clueless about what’s going on but they still like and consider him a friend. He likes drawing manga, watching anime, reading books, and playing fantasy board games and video games, though he tries to hide those facts about him to avoid getting picked on by more people, doesn’t stop his friends from ripping on him about it though. He’s also very cowardly despite doing heist and gang assaults with the scrats, he prefers to be helping out on the sidelines just cracking codes and hacking hardware and stuff, but when it comes to fighting, causing chaos with guns and generally just taking risks, he doesn’t try to get involved, though to his dismay most times he’s dragged by Jonas (his friend) to do those things anyway. Don’t take him the wrong way though cause trust me, when he feels like being a badass, he delivers 😎 I imagine he sounds like an average teen dude just with a little nervousness with everything he says. Any age 13+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like a character described above. Hi 👋 thanks for looking at the voice actor roles 😎 Maddi is an 18 years old British dog girl who loves causing chaos and terror with everything she does. She has a wild and hyperactive, but at the same time a calmer and chatty personality, when it comes to missions and heists she is eager to cause as much murder and destruction as possible, it’s all a fun and exciting game to her, grabbing any gun she can and going crazy, she loves murdering anybody in the most bloody and deadly way, which comes at her advantage and dismay, as in fights she dominates, but when it comes to being stealthy and quite she mostly fumbles the bag with her anxiety getting the best of her, she would rather set off a thousand bombs instead and be done with it. When she’s not in a murder mission heist with the scrats, she shows a more calm and nice attitude, always a chatty person though mostly she just loves talking about how she twisted a guys head open, but nonetheless she’s a nicer person to her friends. She loves guns as previously stated, she has a whole collection of different and rare valuable guns that she brings for the scrats, she clearly has more going on with her with her gun collection but that won’t be explored in the pilot yet. And the most important part of this character is that SHE IS BRITISH, I’ve always imagined her having this British or Australian sounding accent and now I can’t imagine her without it, so it’s up to you to act like you got that BRI’ISH accent 🇬🇧. any age 13+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above. Hi 😊 thanks for looking at the voice actor roles 😎 if your interested in like just practicing voice acting in front of an audience or something, or you just want to help voice in my project but don’t want to have a big role then I’d think you’d be interested in voicing a background character, so if you’ve read the pilot description everyone in the show is a less fortunate cynical asshole, some are funny jerks like playfully messing with the main characters or they just want to beat them up or tear them down in any way possible, some are thugs, and some are just random citizens. Also if you try out for one of the main characters and don’t get the part BUT I like your voice enough, you’ll get a part In the background characters (please don’t be mad or sad if that’s the case you can Deny if you want) and hey! Right now I’ve only planned this one pilot episode but if this show gets any good attention, then I’ll green light a full season, and with a new season comes a larger cast of characters, so if YOU’VE played any of the background characters in the pilot, chances are you might be cast later as an IMPORTANT MAIN CHARACTER in the season, or of the Diamond Reptile just ends here then I’d still appreciate your work as the background character.
