Project Overview
Hi 🤗 thanks for checking out my lil project here. The Diamond Reptile is a story driven 2D animated dark comedy. In a futuristic technologically advanced world that’s controlled by humans and one mega monopolistic corporation after an explosion that wiped out 98% of the world, Teenage anthropomorphic animal thieves Lewis, Jonas, Maddi, and arty want justice and vengeance for there animal brethren after all different animal species were split off by walls in different section of there city anamalia and forced to follow a communistic routine for the rest of there lives that undermine and restrict freedom for all animal beings, most facing discrimination and death all controlled by the humans who want perfection and control. But when the thieving teens break into a known landmark of anamalia where there technology is made, they find a hidden secret that questions all beliefs they may have had about there world, a new animal, a reptile. Now there on the run from a rouge drone that’s hunting the reptile, it’s up to them to unravel mysteries about this reptile and find a way to stop the rouge ai drone. But ash isn’t a normal reptile, there’s something off about him, something almost paranormal, as it seems he can imagine a new filter around the world and control his surroundings, seemingly innocent at first, but the more this turtle can see the horrors of the real world, his mind starts to bend and become more dark, a rouge ai drone may not be the only thing these teens have to watch out for.

Hi 😎 thanks for checking out my lil project here, ash is a simple and innocent little guy who’s mostly confused about his surroundings, as the pilot progresses he starts to lose that innocence and turns into a more anxious and serious character who’s fearful about where his mind will take him. Preferably looking for a voice actor who can give an innocent and humble tone but also a fearful and anxious tone, an anxiety ridden version of the same character, who can sound genuinely scared and scream. I imagine this character sounding like hey Arnold or a Steven universe character, or like a mellow version of serial designation N (from murder drones of your familiar) try going for these sounding characters, remember that I’m NOT looking for an overly joyous and happy loud tone, merely a quite and humble nice tone, think of like paddington or Winnie the Pooh, but sounding like a teen lol, but again can also sound more serious and scared. Any age 15+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above, sound quality must be good, you don’t have to have high end microphone equipment, I just want it to sound passable enough, when in this role I’ll be communicating with you via discord and sending you doses of the full script, so make sure you leave your discord in the description 😊 can’t wait to work with you in bringing this character to life 🙂

(Sound scared and anxious) we’re stealing?! We can’t steal! Your monsters, this isn’t right, I don’t know what’s real or what’s fake, am I okay! I have to get out of here, I turning into a new person! Get out OF MY HEAD!!!
Hi 👋 thanks for looking at this voice actor roles 😎 Maddi is an 18 years old British dog girl who loves getting in fights and causing chaos with everything she does. She has a wild and tough, but at the same time a sly and mischievous personality, when it comes to missions and heists she is eager to cause as much murder as possible, she loves murdering and beating the snot out of anybody in her way, which comes at her advantage and dismay, as in fights she dominates, but when it comes to being stealthy and quite she mostly fumbles the bag with her anxiety getting the best of her, she would rather set off a thousand bombs instead and be done with it. Beyond the unhinged murderous side of her she has a sly and mischievous personality also, whether she’s chatting with her friends or toying with her enemies before going in for the kill. One last thing is Maddi has an UK accent with British slang like ‘come on love’ and ‘bloody hell’ so we’re preferably looking for an actor with a more UK sounding accent. I’d imagine her with a middle ground kind of sultry sound (think like loona from helluva boss of your familiar) and when she becomes unhinged her tone should get a lil bit higher and louder. Any age 15+ is appropriate to audition as long as you sound like how I described above. Sound quality must be good, you don’t have to have high end microphone equipment, I just want it to sound passible enough. Lou it’s been awhile, where the hell you been mate? you must’ve been pretty damn busy to be gone for that long, what’s say we go and cause some minor explosions somewhere else eh. (Sly) oh your a drone technician, that’s cool, yknow i find men in repairs very interesting 😳 (mischievous) Yeah I might got the key up here, But how bad do you want it.
(Maniacal laugh) HA HA HA HAAAAA! Holy shit! This freaks insane aren’t you love. Aw bloody hell, You have any idea how many bodies I had to hide just to get that, that was a fun workout.
Hi 😊 thanks for looking at the voice actor roles 😎 if your interested in like just practicing voice acting in front of an audience or something, or you just want to help voice in my project but don’t want to have a big role then I’d think you’d be interested in voicing a background character, so if you’ve read the pilot description everyone in the show is a less fortunate cynical asshole, some are funny jerks like playfully messing with the main characters or they just want to kick there ass up or tear them down in any way possible, some are thugs, and some are just random citizens. Also if you try out for one of the main characters and don’t get the part BUT I like your voice enough, you’ll get a part In the background characters (please don’t be mad or sad if that’s the case you can Deny if you want) and hey! Right now I’ve only planned this one pilot episode but if this show gets any good attention, then I’ll green light a full season, and with a new season comes a larger cast of characters, so if YOU’VE played any of the background characters in the pilot, chances are you might be cast later as an IMPORTANT MAIN CHARACTER in the season, or of the Diamond Reptile just ends here then I’d still appreciate your work as the background character. Put on any voice you think will fit and go crazy 😊 any age 13+ is appropriate to audition. Hi 🙃 thanks for looking at the music composer role 😎, the music in the pilot will have a mix between an acoustic rock and an existential uncanny “horror” kind of music. If your familiar with “liminal space” the music that goes with it is this supposedly happy but slow creepy and unsettling songs that really sell the isolation and feeling of being alone and scared, that and just straight up horror music. we also need a softer acoustic roots rock music and more of a slow piano jazz. Some cinematic music will also be needed from time to time. When in this role I’ll be communicating with you about how a song should sound with a scene via discord, and it’s your job to make it come to life! And better make a scene pop or feel alive.
