The Daredevil is a mature, ten-episode animated Marvel Comics crime drama produced by Krazin Studios, an InterWare Studios company.

Blind lawyer Matt Murdock wages a two-front war as Daredevil when Wilson Fisk, the feared Kingpin, tightens his grip on Hell's Kitchen through crime, politics, and a promise of renewal.
Season 1 combines legal drama, political corruption, organised crime and brutal street-level action. The series is grounded, dark and focused heavily on performance and character development.

Wilson Fisk is a respected businessman, philanthropist and grieving widower. Privately, he is the Kingpin of Crime and the organising power behind New York’s criminal infrastructure.
We need stillness, intelligence and weight. Fisk rarely raises his voice. He should be able to sound sincere in public, terrifying in private and genuinely human during rare moments.
Do not do a Vincent D’Onofrio impression, a cartoon mob boss or an exaggerated villain growl.

(Public appearance. Calm, measured, almost reassuring) I grew up three streets from here. I remember the broken windows. I remember people learning not to call the police. This neighbourhood deserved better then, and it deserves better now.
(Someone has failed him. Quiet, no shouting.) I gave you one thing to do. Not ten. Not five. One. So tell me why I’m standing here listening to excuses.
(Vanessa is mentioned carelessly. His restraint is beginning to crack.) You didn’t know my wife. Don’t stand in my home and pretend that you did.
Karen is Nelson & Murdock’s office manager, client liaison and an increasingly capable investigator. She is warm, sharp, stubborn and extremely good at getting frightened people to trust her.
She is not helpless and she is not a generic hard-edged detective. We need someone who can handle dry office banter, quiet empathy, anger, fear and emotionally difficult scenes without turning everything into melodrama.
Do not imitate Deborah Ann Woll or any previous Karen Page performance.

(Speaking to a frightened witness. Patient and genuinely concerned) Hey, look at me. You don’t have to tell me everything tonight. Just tell me whether the man in that photo was there.
(Office banter. Casual, quick and familiar) I found the missing deposition. It was under your lunch, which I’m pretty sure now counts as evidence tampering.
(Confronting Matt after he has lied again. Hurt more than angry) You vanish for hours, come back barely able to stand, and somehow I’m the bad person for asking where you were. Do you hear how insane that sounds?
Father Cathal is Matt Murdock’s priest, confessor and one of the few people who has privately understood his secret for years.
He is warm, tired, funny and occasionally bitter. His parish depends on money connected to Fisk, forcing him to choose between keeping people fed and refusing to let charity purchase his silence.
An authentic Irish voice is important. Irish actors are strongly encouraged. Do not use a fake Hollywood priest voice or an exaggerated stage-Irish accent.

(Matt arrives injured again. Familiar, dry and slightly annoyed) Ah, Matthew. Not on the good floor. Sit down.
(Matt is trying to justify what he did. Cathal is tired of hearing it) You always have a reason. That’s the trouble. Men can do awful things once they’ve found a reason they like.
(Discussing Fisk’s charity money. Quiet and conflicted) That money kept the kitchen open through winter. I knew there’d be a price. I just thought I’d be the one paying it.
Melvin is a gifted armourer, machinist and leatherworker who built Daredevil’s suit and billy clubs.
Years earlier, his mind was violated and his skills were used to turn him into a masked terrorist known as the Gladiator. He is now a competent, careful adult trying to live with what was done through his hands. Fisk’s people force that trauma back into his life.
Melvin must never sound childish, goofy or generically unstable. His technical ability is real, his fear is controlled and his warmth with Matt is genuine.

(Inspecting damaged equipment. Focused and practical) You bent the hinge again. I don’t know what you’re hitting out there, but stop hitting it with this side.
(Someone is pressuring him to build something dangerous. Nervous, but trying not to show it) You said it was armour. Armour keeps somebody alive. This doesn’t do that.
(Speaking honestly to Matt about what happened to him before) Last time, I didn’t get a choice. I woke up and people were hurt. So don’t ask me to ignore that feeling just because you’re the one asking.
A blind Hell’s Kitchen lawyer who has secretly operated as Daredevil for four years. Warm, funny and charming as Matt, but restrained, dangerous and exhausted beneath the mask.
*Say something you think would fit*
A disgraced military marksman whose need for structure is exploited by Fisk. Surface charm and eager obedience gradually give way to emotional blankness and terrifying precision.
*Say something you think would fit*
Matt’s former lover and an independent international operator following a Hand-linked financial trail into Fisk’s empire. Controlled, witty and dangerous without becoming a femme-fatale cliché.
*Say something you think would fit*
Wilson Fisk’s closest adviser and the man who keeps his empire functioning. Wesley turns courtesy, organisation and exact language into weapons without needing to raise his voice.
*Say something you think would fit*
A veteran investigative reporter whose old, career-damaging belief in the Kingpin is pulled back to the surface. Tired and cynical, but nowhere near defeated.
*Say something you think would fit*
Matt’s best friend, law partner and the legal backbone of Nelson & Murdock. Naturally funny and socially intelligent, but fully capable of becoming serious legal opposition when pushed.
