The Chronicles of Sir William (The Owl House Fan Series)
Project Overview
The Chronicles of Sir William is a "canon edit" or retelling of the events of The Owl House from the mid-second season on into a complete third in an effort to give TOH fans a more satisfying resolution to the show we love. It follows Luz's adventures after awakening a magical knight, Sir William, from a bygone age of The Boiling Isle's history to teach her about wielding magical glyphs. I take a few artistic liberties with the established lore and backstory, but ones I hope deepen the Demon Realms' allure.
- Under Sir William's tutelage, Luz discovers far more glyphs than the four she knew previously.
- Sir William's backstory will offer a window into the history of the Boiling Isles before the reign of Emperor Belos. Rather than the idyllic world portrayed in the show proper, the Isles were ruled by the medieval Kingdom of Ossigard. While magic was not restricted to the Covens, it was still regarded with suspicion and only the bravest attempted to learn it.

Emperor Belos himself will return to his roots as the more tragic villain he was before the episodes Elsewhere & Elsewhen and Hollow Mind reduced him to a myopic sociopath.
This story was inspired by TOH's unaired pilot footage, which showcased an early iteration of Hunter's character, the eponymous Sir William. He doesn't have much screen time, but what little we saw of him fascinated me. I imagined all the humorous and exciting scenarios that could arise from a medieval character interacting with the modern, urban fantasy-inspired setting of the Owl House.
So I set about penning a script for what the show might have looked like had it followed this premise. Now I'm seeking artists and voice actors to help me bring this story to the screen as an animatic/storyboard (or possibly animation) that will be featured on Youtube.
REQUIREMENTS:
- To have read the scripts here at Wordpress or FanFiction.net, at least to Chapter 5 to see if you'd be interested in this project.
- To have Discord to collaborate and communicate with the team.
- To work promptly. I can understand difficulty with life/work balances but make sure you have time to devote to this project.
Currently, all roles will be unpaid, but if we build up enough of a following on Youtube I might consider backing this project on Patreon and dividing the proceeds.

We are looking for artists who can comfortably draw in TOH style to produce the storyboard/animatic. I myself can step into this role if no other candidates apply, but I'm not the most experienced artist and don't have an efficient workflow pinned down. This is the best I've managed after two months, so I'd like dedicated artists to work on this project or if nothing else to help me.

We need someone experienced with audio editing software to manage the voice lines, sound effects, and musical accompaniment for the series. For music, we should only require samples taken from the show's soundtrack, though we may potentially need original compositions in the future so experience with digitally composing music would be nice.

Over time we will need actors to voice the various supporting characters of The Owl House. Among them are:
- Raine Whispers and his fellow Bards (Katya, Derwin, and Amber)
- The Blight Family (Alador, Odalia, Emira, and Ederic)
- Warden Wrath
- Perry Porter
- Lilith Clawthorne
- Tibbles
- Tarak
- Kikimora
And others. Needless to say, these roles won't have as many lines as those of the main characters but will still be vital to telling the story.
