Project Overview
Join Barbie, Tia and Courtney as they go to Van Buren High School to rock out their band which they called it Charmz. So, watch out of Raquelle, Regen and Dawn!

Barbie is a high school student in her sophomore year, and is the singer and guitarist of a band named Charmz. Barbie is confident around her best friends. She is also very smart because she has a high score in Chemistry, which everyone else failed in. She is quite insecure and loves dancing and singing, but she only does it in front of her friends.

Since Todd couldn’t have wrecked our set with his bump leg, I can cross him off the list as of suspects. But I still have no clue who could’ve done this. Okay diary, I need to ask who saw what, who heard who and demand answers! That sounded pretty tough didn’t it? I wanted it to be. Now I have to be real quiet so Miss Dewey doesn’t throw a fit. I know a library is supposed to be quiet but hey I need to figure this out.
Regen, you have free period after 5th period before you go to work. You had the time and expertise to sabotage the set and music sheets.

Tia is Barbie's friend and is the pianist, accordionist and keyarist of a band named Charmz. Tia is kind and smart, and her wish for the sophomore year was to be class president. She was very passionate and devoted to it. Tia is also very neat, and even counts her jeans so she will never wear the same pair two days in a row.

Yeah! A rocking-mentary! It’s perfect for a rock film! We are the perfect subjects for it. We are smart, photogenic, and harmonious!
I did see her. I saw her check out a book on mind control and I can’t think why she would do that. I don’t trust that girl.
Courtney is Barbie's friend and is the drummer of a band named Charmz. Courtney is a loyal and helpful friend, and she helps Tia with her rally. She also comforts Barbie when she is feeling down after not getting the anchor job. She is a tomboy and loves playing drums and her wish for the sophomore year is to "kick butt as a drummer". She describes herself as exciting, and she has a spunky personality. She doesn't mind breaking school rules when Barbie makes her a highlighter lip gloss.

Courtney: Barbie thinks I destroyed our sets and rearranged the sheets and sent that creepy text because I’m trying to impress Cole!
Okay then yes, sure, certainly, abso-freakin-lutely! You know what? Just like with all those music documentaries, you should make a documentary on our road to the battle of the bands since you're on the news team at school.
Kevin is one of Barbie's best friends, and also one of her love interests. Barbie considers Kevin to be a good, sweet, funny and talented friend. They have a tradition of watching movies and eating snacks that start with a certain letter. Kevin is shy and reluctant to reveal his romantic feelings for Barbie at first, because he values their friendship too much. He is normally goofy and loves to make Barbie laugh.

Raquelle is the most popular girl in school and Barbie's enemy. Raquelle is the girlfriend of a football player named Todd, who Barbie has a crush on. In the 5th grade, she used to be best friends with Barbie, but once she became more and more popular because of Todd, she began bullying and antagonizing Barbie along with her friends Regen and Dawn. Raquelle is the news anchor for the school news channel and tries to make Barbie do silly errands for her in order to make her miserable. Her specific targeting of Barbie implies that she might be jealous of Barbie's good nature and beauty.
Voice: Medium range, but make her sound like Raquelle from the film version of The Barbie Diaries

Hello world, you all know me already and I’m Raquelle. I think Todd’s going to win because he’s my boyfriend.
Thinking was your first mistake! So why don’t you call someone who cares?! Anyways, Todd’s going to win this battle of the bands because I don’t date losers!
Regen is a popular, but two-faced, teenage girl who becomes friends with Barbie so they can gossip. After hearing about her undercover news story, however, Regen and Dawn stopped talking to Barbie and thought that Barbie herself was a hypocrite for pretending to be friends with them. Regen and Dawn return to hanging out with Raquelle afterwards. By the end of the film, they have abandoned Raquelle and talk to Tia about methods of organizing clothing.

Dawn is best friends with Regen and Raquelle, and she is in her sophomore year in high school. Dawn is a popular, but hypocritical, teenager who becomes friends with Barbie so they can gossip. However, after hearing about Barbie's undercover news story, Dawn stopped talking to Barbie and thought that Barbie the hypocritical person for pretending to be friends with her.

I’m Dawn. I think Todd’s band Count Jockular is going to win and I think that because Raquelle told me to think and hope he’ll win.
I mean you have been kinda controlling. You kept on telling him to do stuff that requires physical activities when he has suffered an injury during football.
Todd is Raquelle's jock boyfriend and is the lead singer and guitarist of a band called Count Jockular. Todd goes to school with Barbie, who has a crush on him. He is a popular football jock who is in his sophomore year, and his girlfriend was Raquelle.
Voice: Similar to Andrew Francis's portrayal as Todd
