Project Overview
In this Youtube Radio Drama, Tom's mother is killed by a serial killer. The only reason he survives is because of a mysterious girl fighting the killer and saving his life. Tom finds out the girl goes to his school, but the killer finds them too. Thus begins a long adventure to keep Tom safe until he turns 17. People die, people don't die, there's magic involved. Voice acting roles are unpaid.

An only child who lives with his mother. His father walked out on them when Tom was young, not long after he was hit by a car. He just wants to get through life, he's kind but a little dense and protective of his friends. He was born with a rare heart condition the forms a crystal in his heart, it doesn't affect him, but when he turns 17 it gives him powers. His voice is soft with rough undertones.
[Thoughtful, remembering] This is a ritual of ours I guess, a walk every Sunday, just the two of us against the world! Didn’t use to be that way, she could be so embarrassing sometimes but, ever since Dad left, we became each other’s rock…
[Panicking, terrified] I don’t know but we’ve got to get you- Wait, who are you? What are you…!? NO! NO! MUM! PLEASE!
[Sarcastic, annoyed] I just saw a flying psychopathic killer slice my mother’s throat with a throwing knife and then watched my mum bleed to death while two women fight over me…
A middle sibling of four, also a twin. She's very short tempered, That has a hidden soft side that she doesn't show due to her experiences. She's very protective of her siblings but this can lead to conflict. She can predict her opponent's movements and can also fly. Her voice is quite harsh.
[Casual, matter-of-factly] The house I grew up in. It’s got certain protections on us to stop Helen from coming back. My brother is still there, so he kind of keeps an eye on things for us.
[Devastated, panic attack] But she’s not gone! She’s not… [escalating gasps/sobs] I can never grieve her. If she sees me upset it will break her! I can’t do that to her, she’s been through enough…I can’t, I…! [hyperventilating gasps/sobs]
[Furious, angry] Hate you? Luna I DESPISE you! You killed Arche! You could have killed ME! And now what?! You want help leaving our mother, who you chose to follow?! Of course I don’t trust you! Why the hell would I trust anything you say!?
He's Tom's best friend. He lives alone after his father left them, his mother took her own life, and then his sister was killed. He tends to hide his pain with comedy, but he tends to think he's funnier than he is. Don't think before he speaks which can be upsetting. His voice is a medium pitch but can sound a little rough.
[Protective]I knew you could be defensive, but I didn’t think you were that mean. That was just cruel, however you feel about him you can’t treat him like that, and I’ll be damned if I let you.
[Sad] Last year, the one time I was late picking her up from school…Katie decided to walk home by herself. Figuring I knew which way she’d taken I tried to catch up with her, but when I did…this woman was standing over her fallen body for a moment before disappearing.
[Amused] He managed to slip away and, when he saw the fight wasn’t going Helen’s way, he bolted. Somehow, he found his way to a hospital. No one believed him when he tried to explain so I think he’s in a psych unit now.
The youngest brother of Selene, he's 12 years old but very mature for his age. His power is that he can transfer people's souls into an object as they die, effectively keeping them alive. He spends most of the narrative as one of these ghosts. His voice is still kinda high as he's so young, if you can crack your voice, go for it. Don't worry if not.
[Confused] (Whispering) What are you doing? I don’t know if you noticed, but this isn’t the bathroom. Whatever. I’m gonna go before she wakes up and kicks your butt.
[Angry, protective] It’s my turn. This time, I protect you. You won’t harm them. I won’t let you! You guys may be helpless, but I’m not! I won’t let you hurt them!
[Contemplative, certain] I...thought it’d hurt. But I actually feel warm? Get back to them as quick as you can ok? Selene needs you more than ever. Tell her I love her ok? And that I said goodbye. It’s ok. I’m with Dad now.
An eventual side kick of the main villain. He knew Selene and her siblings when they were younger, and had a big crush on her twin sister. He isn't happy when he realises that she doesn't return his feelings. He thinks he's cool and comes across as arrogant. The Villain gave him enhanced strength and endurance through experimentation. His voice is low and rather snake like.
[Excited, hopeful] I tried to find you...’cause I heard that the school you went to got blown up! So, I went to your house to see it totally wrecked! Then she showed up and...and said she could help me find you!
[Annoyed] Working is an overstatement…I feel like my legs are made of lead. You gave me that without knowing if it’d work?! And in case you’re interested, when I landed there was-
[Confused] Huh? We’re not going back to base? What about all of the people who are still there? You’re just going to leave them? They can hardly fend for themselves.
Selene's father. The children are his world and he hopes to make them proud. He studied alchemy in a secret basement with his wife. His wife ends up killing him for his research. He shows up mostly in Flashbacks and dreams. His voice is deep and he sounds like he knows a lot.
[Explaining, knowledgeable] The child however was very weak so the husband, desperate to save their miracle baby, prayed to the moon to spare the child. That night, the moon gifted the child with the strength it needed to live. Marked with striped hair and amber eyes.
[Angry] You left your children alone, the only one you even gave a damn about was Luna. What about them? What about Arche? All for the sake of immortality?
[Frustrated] No, let me finish! If she’s the one to bring you back, your memories will be reset. You won’t remember anything from the four years since you died! You’ll be her puppet, she could say anything and you’d believe her!
A very condescending to young people, he just wants to do his job and go home. Doesn't actually care all that much. His voice is close to the stereotypical buff man, very deep voice.
[Tired, uncaring] Shouldn’t you two be in school?
[Confused] Wait, aren’t you the kid from the Oedipus Killer murder last week? And what do you mean someone blew up your school?
[Annoyed] Take your friend home and make sure he rests. Shouldn’t have been back at school so soon after something so awful. No buts! Go on, get home!
A very by the book man. During his scene he doesn't quite understand why there are two boys with an unconscious girl but thinks better of questioning. He does his job, and then he leaves. His voice is soft and comforting.
[Certain, confident] It’s just a fever. There isn’t much else I can do for her, it’s something her body has to work through on its own.
[Sighing, informative] Keep her hydrated as much as possible and hopefully the fever should break. If there’s any progress, please give me a call.
All he lives for is to please his mistress, very much acts like a kiss ass. Think a typical Gothic lab assistant. Dies off very fast. His voice his kind of gross? The vocal embodiment of something slimy.
[Curious] Everything’s ready for the next subject. Are you ready to go?
[Concerned] M’lady?
Selene's older sister. Due to her mother lying to her after the death of Selene's twin, she blames Selene for the incident and follows her villainous mother. Though as the narrative progresses she begins to question what she's doing. She can control fire, and can also send a person into a fever, leaving them sick for a few days. Has a very confident voice, somewhat monotone unless she's angry.
[Arrogant, smirking] Hey kiddos! What? Not pleased to see your big sister? I only came back for Mothers’ diary! She did say to pass on a message if I saw you. Something along the lines of giving up the boy.
[Angry, distressed] This isn’t your business. Shut up. Shut up or I’ll kill you myself.
[Panicking, hysterical] W-what? No. Stop. STOP IT! I’m sorry! JUST MAKE IT STOP! I can’t...I can’t do this anymore.
