Texas Sealife Center Media Team For Youtube Channel
Project Overview
We are The Texas Sealife Center! A non profit, volunteer based rehab center, dedicated to saving all sorts of animals from sea turtles to raptors. We at The Texas Sealife Center offer tours of our facility, featuring many of the rehabilitated animals we have saved.
We have decided to create a Youtube channel to help support and promote the Sealife Center! We have many videos and tik toks to reupload there, as well as news videos and community posts to make. However, we plan to also create original content for the Texas Sealife Center's new Youtube Channel. The thing is, we only have so many people well equipped to make the content that we want to upload, that's why we are here on CCC.
We want to put together a team, made up of narrators, artists, animators, editors and more in order to produce content and promote the Sealife Center. We will soon be having a big expansion to our facility and we really want to grow our social media before the big change. So that way we can advertise even more when we do get that expansion. There are some things to know before trying out for this project:
1: What is uploaded to the channel has to be approved by our media team leader and Sealife Center founders, even if a good video is made, if not approved by them, it will not be uploaded. The videos we make on the channel have to positively and accurately represent the Sealife Center.
2: This is a volunteer project, we are a volunteer based organization. There will be no payments for work, though it will always been greatly appreciated.
3: We require that none of the content made by our future media team contain any AI, we also require that if you use public footage from other sources, you must cite those sources.
4: There will be a wide variety of content. Including but no limited to: memes, educational shorts, PSA's, rescue videos, news videos and more. The content will be like a mash of Brave Wilderness and other online animal channels.
5: You will receive credit for the videos you work on and Discord is required, be sure to include it in your submission.
We may pick multiple people for each role.
Feel free to try out for as many roles as you would like! We would really appreciate a helping hand in this project :D

We are looking for some artists to create art for some of our community posts, series logos and thumbnails! We don't have any specific requirements, feel free to submit your work!

We are looking for animators, not necessarily 2D animators but animators that can create intros for our videos. Similar to the intros of Brave Wilderness but it doesn't have to be the same level of quality.

We are looking for someone who can write short scripts for our videos. We want the scripts to fun, well paced and passionate.

We are looking for someone savvy with knowledge regarding Texas wildlife. You won't be editing scripts or videos, instead you will helping us find reliable information and true facts regarding the animals we make videos about. You will also review and double check the facts on future videos.

We are looking for a variety of different editors, who can edit many different types of videos. From memes, to educational Youtube shorts, to skits, to Brave Wilderness style videos. Feel free to send some of your work.

Be sure to let us know what type of editor your auditioning for. We don't exactly require a certain editing software but some of us are using Capcut. We're looking for people who can edit decently and keep it consistent. Also, we are looking for editors using PC or Laptop, not phone.

We are looking for family friendly and informative voices to narrate some of our videos! We will be picking multiple voices of varying types so just feel free to audition. We do ask that you have decent mic quality and some personality :D Please do your audition in AABBCC or ABCABC format.

This is the super spiky Texas Horned Lizard, also known as "Texas horny toads" When threatened, it can squirt blood from its eyes as a defense mechanism. The blood even tastes foul to predators like coyotes... Ew
This is the Mexican Free-tailed Bat. The colony in Bracken Cave is the largest bat colony in the world, with over 15 million bats. That’s more mammals in one spot than in most U.S. states!
While using copyright free music does work for making videos, it would be much safer to use music of our own! That's why we're looking for a musical composer, one that can make beach, sea and wildlife sounding tunes that we can use in our videos.
