Teppen-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing 'til you Cry (てっぺんっ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) is a 2022 anime series produced by Drive.
Yayoi Sakamoto, a die-hard fan of comedians and comedy acts, reunites with a childhood friend. They put together a routine at a park, like they did before, in order to enter a local shopping area's contest.
This project is a fandub produced by Todu Dubbing, a HappyAnimation brand. This project has no affiliation with Drive.

Yayoi is a breakthrough blabbermouth. A bright and positive girl who loves comedy, she transferred from Kyoto to Namba, Osaka. She was paired with her childhood friend Yomogi, whom she reunited with when she entered high school, and then invited Yuzu to join them to form Young YY.

Yomogi is in charge of tsukkomi. She and Yayoi were childhood friends and formed a duo called "Konamonzu". She is a strong person who helps her family's takoyaki restaurant "Takohashi" while doing comedy. She has a younger brother, Yoshihiro, who is in elementary school, and twin sisters, Rine and Miki, who are in kindergarten.

Yuzu is in charge of boke. She is a self-proclaimed comedy researcher who moved from Iwate to Osaka to study comedy. She has always enjoyed writing scripts for manzai, and plays a central role in creating material for Young YY as well.

Mako calls herself the daughter of the president of a large corporation, but she is suspicious of many things, such as her eye for expensive things and her greed. She seems to be doing her best to match Saeka and Hikari. There are rumors that she secretly works part-time in the shadows...

Saeka is the daughter of a large conglomerate that runs one of Japan's leading tea-leaf producing companies. She is a celebrity of such a high caliber that it is rumored that she travels by hired car or helicopter. She has no bad intentions, but her financial sense is so far removed from that of the average person that she sometimes says rude things in a natural way.

Hikari is the daughter of the president of a long-established confectionery company in Aichi Prefecture. Although she is a celebrity in general, she is in a delicate position in that she is reluctant to push out her rich character in front of Saeka. Her parents allow her to perform comedy on the condition that she promotes her family's confectionery during her comic performances.

Hina is a shy, whispery, and outspoken person. She is overly negative about Ibaraki, always self-deprecating, saying "Ibaraki is nothing anyway." However, she never allows other prefectures to disparage Ibaraki, and it is believed that she has a strong love for Ibaraki at her core.

Miyu is a boke with an abundance of love for her hometown. Even during her comic dialogue, she excessively emphasizes the advantages and favorite points of Ibaraki, and her goal is to make Ibaraki the capital of Japan. She is an extreme fan of Mito Komon and eventually plans to produce a Hollywood version of Mito Komon.

Misao is in charge of tsukkomi. With her neutral face and strong tone of voice, she is treated as a handsome guy by girls and often confesses her feelings for them. When sh was making a tsukkomi about misplaced conversation between classmates Miyu and Hina, she was recognized as a trio by the others.

Yuina's "real" name is "Jupitris Narunaru Neiji Yuina," an alien who came to warn people of a crisis on earth.... She decided to play an alien character because she thought it would not work in comedy if she remained a simple person. But it was hard to remember the settings, and she honestly regrets it.

Mone loves science fiction movies and anime, and is the only one who is excited about the alien setting. Her family is a dairy farmers, and although she has been drinking a lot of milk since she was a child, she has trouble growing taller.

Chitose is a girl who aims to be the best comedian in Japan. She is always stoic about comedy and always makes an effort. However, she is not always making the right effort, for example, she uses a weighted wrist band to pretend to be a lucky comedian.

Seiji is the name of the strict dormitory manager at Takako-so, who oversees the fifteen aspiring comedians living there. Seiji gives the girls various tasks and final tests to prepare them for the main Teppen Grand Prix comedy competition. Despite his often serious demeanor (he scolds the girls for slacking off), he plays a crucial role in their development as comedians.
