Project Overview

|| CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT ||

|| NOTICE || Since this is a horror game, there will be sensitive topics such as: ED (eating disorders), blood, slight gore, mental torture, cannibalism, etc

|| PLOT || You are about to open your brand new bakery/sweet shop, but you are still feeling insecure about how your sweets taste. So, you post an ad online looking for a taste tester so you can get an outsider's opinion (because you have no friends to ask...). Soon after posting the ad, you get a response email from a girl named Maple, who is more than willing to try out your treats since she has quite the sweet tooth and is a very honest gal!

|| GAMEPLAY || You will present 3 different desserts for Maple to try. Drag and drop each of the desserts to Maple's mouth so that she can try them and give her honest opinion on them. Afterwards, you will either check KEEP or TRASH based on her reactions to each of the desserts! (The number of desserts is still TBD. The desserts will also be randomized.)

|| DEVELOPER'S NOTES ||

  • The character we play as tends to not take criticism very well (as you will see later in the game)...

  • IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH ANY OF THE STUFF MENTIONED IN THE WARNING, DO NOT PLAY/PARTICIPATE IN THE MAKING OF THIS GAME!!

  • Besides the VA work, this is being made by only one person, so please be patient.

  • There is no official release date yet, but I aim to release this game either late December or early January of next year (hopefully it will be earlier than this)

  • Possible Pause and Game Changes

    Hello everyone! I just wanna say first of all, thank you all so much for auditioning! It makes me so happy to see so many people interested in this project!

    Now for some possibly bad news, I may have to put a slight pause on production at the moment. I intended to release the game by the end of the year and I tried to rush everything, but in the end, I burnt myself out.

    Don't worry, I still intend to release the game. It will just take much longer to release. Plus I wanna make some changes to the game mechanics and lore, as well as update Maple's design! I will still be announcing who got the role of Maple 1-3 days after submissions get cutoff.

    I hope you all understand and I appreciate your patience!
