Tall Tales and Tavern Trails
Project Overview
Tall Tales and Tavern Trails is a mostly improv D&D inspired work based off the stereotype of bartenders being the "free therapist" for drunkards and some sober people. It's easy to tell the bartender things, especially if you're drinking alone!
This podcast explores stories of characters unused by the creators! A level of improvisational skills are needed for any role of voice acting, as there will be no script. Each character may only appear in one episode, although the Barkeep (the character the creator will play) may make callbacks to previous guests.
This will be a recorded roleplay session. Sound effects may or may not be added, unless you'd like to make your own! There are only six broad roles for now, however more may be added. If you're curious or have ideas, but don't want to voice anyone, talk to me! I'd love to talk of any.
DISCLAMER: The themes of death, drinking/alcohol, greed/other sins, violence, and other alike things will appear at least once. Although nothing will be done directly, it will simply be mentions.
Please provide a way of contacting you (discord preferred as I can make a group chat for everyone, but I can be flexible) in your submission. If a role is marked as "chosen" but you still wish to try out for the role, don't hesitate to reach out! I can attempt to work some things out for you. Although I don't have a brand in mind, please have a decent quality microphone. I don't expect any kind of professional one, haha, but I do have some auditory processing problems. Having a decent quality mic would help alleviate that.
For now, the only language we are in is English, however, I do hope to be translated in the future.
