This is TenderChord Studios coming at you with our very first project on CastingCall Club!
Today we're bringing you: Sword Art Online!
Basically, what we're doing is making Sword Art Online: Abridged and we're looking for some fantastic Voice Actors! While we have already casted one of our own as Kirito Kirigaya, we are looking for the rest of the cast! That's where you guys come in!
We'll start with the basic characters, especially from season one and make a new call when we need more characters!
Basically, the first line or two will be us wanting to hear you impersonate the character to the best of your ability, either the English VA or the Japanese VA, that is your choice! The other lines are our own creations (tentative) where we would like to hear your take on the voice! Here's a basic breakdown:
First Take: Character's voice from the dub, canon line.
Second Take: Your own take on the voice, canon line.
Third Take: Character's voice from the dub, abridged line.
Fourth Take: Your own take on the voice, abridged line.
We would prefer these to be as .wav or .mp3 on here, but any questions or concerns can be mentioned here!
The main male protagonist, also known as the "Black Swordsman" of Sword Art Online. He is a hero of the story, a former Beta tester, who is looking to beat the game in order to free himself and all of the others trapped within the death game.

The main female protagonist, also known as the "Lightning Flash" of Sword Art Online. She is a heroine in the story and Kirito's love interest. She is known for her lightning quick movements on the battlefield and is second-in-command of the prestigious Knights of the Blood Oath.
"If we make it back to the real world, I'll find you. And fall in love with you all over again."
"When I began thinking of him as I fell asleep, I stopped having nightmares. I began to look forward to seeing him. For the first time since I arrived here, I was happy."
"I see you also have a good taste in food, not just women."
One of the many players stuck in the world of Sword Art Online and one of the first players that Kirito meets and interacts with. He is a very flirty guy who is still a rather prominent character in the series. He leads Guild, Fuurinkazan, and has a fighting style similar to a samurai.
"Just consider hardships as another part of training and keep working hard."
(overly distressed) "My pizzaaaaa!"
(Think "Where's the Caveman?" from Scooby Doo) "But wait a sec, if we're in here, but our bodies are out there, and the boss is there, but wait a second I just remembered we're in here. Then what about my pizza?!"
One of the many players stuck in the world of Sword Art Online and another one of the first players that Kirito meets and interacts with. She is a rather shy young girl who plays as a Beast Master with her loyal familiar, Pina (Peanut in this case).
"It's impossible to work hard for something you don't enjoy."
(flirtatiously) "Age is only a number."
(in tears) "Peanut...My Peanut..."
One of the many players stuck in the world of Sword Art Online and another one of the first players that Kirito meets and interacts with. He is a merchant who runs his own bar in the real world. He is level-headed and always willing to help Kirito in his time of need.
"That's an S-Class meal item!"
"I'm the best merchant in all the lands. People give me things, sometimes involuntarily, and I sell them."
"My friends call me Agent Smith, Will Smith, but you...You can call me dark chocolate."
One of the many players stuck in the world of Sword Art Online and another one of the first players that Kirito meets and interacts with. Lisbeth is a Blacksmith who is known for her fine craftsmanship and is very cocky about her work, but is secretly very sweet!
"I too, was looking for something. Something real in this world. For me, it was the warmth of your hand. "
(cocky) "I'm the finest blacksmith in the lands!"
"You're a mad man, how dare you break that sword with another sword?!"
One of the many players stuck in the world of Sword Art Online and another one of the first players that Kirito meets and interacts with. She is known as an information broker and seems rather shady, requirement payment in Col for her services. (Couldn't find any major canon lines, sorry!)
"Argo has ware, if you have coin!"
(Suggestively) "Argo looks everywhere for her information...Everywhere."

The creator of Sword Art Online and secretly a player in the ranks! Without spoiling too much, he is actually much closer to Asuna and Kirito than they realize!
"In every world, once you die, you're gone."
"Why, I created the game, so of course I turned on Godmode!"
"Haven't you learned anything? You can't beat the game developer at his own game!"
An AI NPC in Sword Art Online that believes Kirito and Asuna are her parents. She grows very close to the pair as they advance through the game.
"Everyone smiles, when they are with you. Please...from now on, go and help people in my place. Share your happiness with them."
(Navi-esque) "Hey, listen!"
"Daddy, I wanna learn how to use a sword too! Mommy says they're a lot of fun, but she prefers them long and skinny."
Here is the spot for you to audition for any role not mentioned on this list or to just audition as an extra! Remember, even the smallest of parts can steal the show, so go nuts!
(When people begin to call Kirito a Beater) "Beat her?! Why the hell would he beat the girl?! BOO, WIFE BEATER!"
"Damn it, I didn't go into the right skill tree, now I'll always be a stupid healer!"
