Whiskers, an adventurous cat, lounges on the couch, dreaming of a delicious ice cream cone.
WHISKERS
(looking sad)
If only I had some money for ice cream.
EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD - DAY
Whiskers sets off on a quest to earn money. She tries odd jobs like catching mice and helping with chores.
EXT. PARK - AFTERNOON
Whiskers finally earns enough money. She excitedly heads to the ice cream truck.
ICE CREAM TRUCK - MOMENTS LATER
Whiskers reaches the ice cream truck, but her joy turns into empathy when she spots a hungry dog, Scruffy.
WHISKERS
(smiling)
You look hungrier than me, Scruffy. Have this ice cream.
Scruffy devours the ice cream, and a friendship blossoms between them.
EXT. PARK - LATER
As Whiskers and Scruffy play, a speeding car careens toward Scruffy, who remains oblivious.
WHISKERS
(concerned)
Scruffy, look out!
Whiskers, without hesitation, leaps in front of Scruffy, taking the hit from the car.
SCRUFFY
(shocked)
Whiskers!
Whiskers lies injured, but Scruffy is unharmed.
SCRUFFY
(teary-eyed)
You saved me, Whiskers.
Whiskers weakly purrs, glad to have made a true friend.
