Suzerain: Voiced
Project Overview
This is a project based on the game Suzerain, a political roleplaying simulator.
It is very dialogue heavy, and has no voice acting, so I wanted to change that!
The plan is to all get into a call on discord, and stream the game on YouTube. (Or record sessions and post them, depending.)
This is the first project I've attempted, so my standards aren't exactly high, as long as you are willing to sit around, basically making an audiobook live with a group of others.
A server or group chat will be set-up once everything is decided, and we'll have days for everyone to come on. The sessions will likely take place on the weekend, mid-day/evening. (there will be several)
(roles will vary during the whole thing. don't expect to always play the character you signed as.)
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
Main character of the game, and likely the most lines.
A middle-aged politician, cares for those around him, mostly, but stays reserved in conversation, rarely with moments of high emotion.
Looking for a mature voice, sounding smooth but tired.
- english
- male adult
- Mature male
We need focus on the economy, reelection is impossible without it healed.
What's the debt situation?
A Morgna Wes Core.
Since there aren't many female roles in the game, I'm electing to have just one, maybe two voice actors for the parts.
Can you check on Franc? He hasn't left his room all day.
Women's education in this country is shameful, I recommend you focus on that, first.
A Machiavellian semi-robotic man. He acts only in ways he believes are in his best interest, and always remains calm and collected.
Voice should be deep, and clear, like he decided on every single word before speaking it.
Very well sir, I'll start making the arangments.
If you're intent on going through with this, we'll need a substitute for what is lost.
The general military staff, since there aren't many.
General gruff, older voice.
Conscription has been the backbone of our military for decades, letting go of it now, even if it yielded good result, would be too late.
Despite being called leftover, there is quite a few. Roles that were too specific and infrequent.
Any male voice generally can work here, as long as it can range from young to semi-mature male.
