About The Series
Synopsis: 20 Y/O Rio Burgas lives his life passively feeling he only needs to focus on his living situation, his best friend (Damien Woods), and his love life to sry content in the present. He never really takes a look into his future or where he is gonna be one day. This makes him a very chill person to others, but his mindset continues to damage how others want to live their lives and how they will keep their relationship with Rio. The series is explain not only Rio’s but a ton of other character’s lives and how their way of living effects their love life. Rio’s greatest surprise, and the kicker of the series, is seeing his sister he hasn’t spoken to in 6 years and attempting to reconnect with little to no motivation.
Extra: It appears that Rio will be the main focus of the series, but I don’t want this whole series to star around him at all. I want to be able to focus on multiple characters as much as I can without treating them like supporting characters that only continue Rio’s story. Every character will play off of each other as much as they can, but Rio’s story will be the longest running one till the end of the series.
Note: There will be some mature themes in the series, nothing extreme like “Euphoria” or “13 Reasons Why” but when you get the audition make sure to notify of any triggers you may have so that I can keep you safe from them.
About Me
Hey! My name is Jesse, I’m a 17 y/o going into college, and my personality is food because I’m basic like that. I’m a white-Hispanic, unlabeled by part of the LGBTQ+ community
I love drama, slice of life, coming of age, all that good shit when it comes to media, so I wanted to create my own inclusive version of that. There are other motives for this series but I’ll think about telling you if you get a role.
Rules Before Auditioning
1. If you’re Cis, only audition for a Cis character, other than that feel free to audition for any sexuality as long as you’re comfortable with it.
2. Be between the ages of 15-21. This is the age group I feel comfortable with when it comes to the more mature themes of this series.
3. Be confident in your work. Now this isn’t me saying you can’t have any self-doubt or anxiety about auditioning as that is impossible. We could work on that together whenever you need, what I basically mean from this is, don’t be a pick me.
4. Be kind to other auditions, unless they’re trolls, go off on the ones that just scream into their mic saying slurs.
5. Have discord! This is a must since it will be the only form of communication I will do with you as a director to a voice actor. (We will exchange discord via the messaging in Casting Call Club)
6. Notice this is volunteer work, no payment will be given as I am broke myself, this is for complete fun but it could be the start of good publicity for you.
7. Once again this is volunteer work but do not flake on this project, if you know you’re probably gonna leave two weeks into the projects don’t audition. I don’t appreciate flakers unless there is an understandable reason.
8. You don’t need a (Yeti Snowball Ultra Audio Soundwave 3000) but I would appreciate a clearness in your voice.
9. Have little to no background audio in your audition.
10. Be kind, be safe, and don’t hesitate to message me if any problems occur with auditioning.

He is blunt and easily uncomfortable when it comes to strangers. He is still blunt but aggressive with both strangers and friends that piss him off, it could be seen as passive-aggressive. But neutrally, Rio is calm, passive-minded, and a quiet person, he talks the longest with those he has a special heart for which would only be three people. So most of the time, other people carry the conversation.
Voice
Has a soft higher pitch but can easily be an ambiguous voice. Nothing deep though.

Enjoys taking the role of leader, is comforting and laid back when he has nothing else to do in his free time, but other than that, when there is work or a problem happening he takes action as quickly as possible. Lives life more actively than Rio but hasn't thought about what he wants to do permanently, he just focuses more on himself on the present and how to keep himself well and healthy at the moment. He is a confident, laid-back, independent person.

A bit deeper but very clear and confident.

A bit hot-headed, devious, and charming in public and with friends but level-headed when it counts and tends to be motherly when her friends need it most. She is Rio's sibling and recently moves in with him after some decisions she made at the current time. She already has a job as being a writer and wants to live in the moment while she is with her brother since her and her brother has tons of lost time she believes they have to make up.

Light but can cause damage to the ears when angry. Sounds snarky at times.

Cheerful, sometimes a bit much is very energetic but uses that energy to be proactive and get by the day. Will never say no to a job or favor from a friend (within reason). Isn't great when it comes to serious situations but does her best to be comforting when something does happen. She likes to call herself Rio's best friend but she likes to say that with anyone who she would consider a friend.

Emilio is a calm, NERD. He's sensible and outgoing, he appears to be a well-rounded person who has his life figured out except for his romantic life. He struggles in the romantic department and no one knows why. His well-rounded persona makes him appear more well-put, and mature when he meets others when he barely believes he is doing the bare minimum for himself. All in all, smart, sensible, and outgoing.

A realistic, charismatic, and confident person. Amelia is a bit dense when she socializes but manages to stay confident in herself. She has a great balance of being humble and hyping herself up in certain situations. She acts as a perfect role model when people meet her but she is overall just a dumbfounded helper who knows what people need at the right time. She gets a little bit snarky around those she enjoys meeting and being around.

Calm and comforting, not too high pitch but still around being medium-high pitched.

Dottie is emotionless. Well, not emotionless, they come off as blunt, rude, and cold when Dottie just doesn't express emotions as passionately as others. They will mind their own business and get pissed when others bud into theirs. They live their own life despite how it may affect others but that is not to say that Dottie doesn't have the slightest bit of common sense. They have a smudge of common sense in there. They are also a pastry lover.

When expressions are directed don't be extreme with it, be as subtle as possible. They have a soothing but nearly emotionless tone.

Often sarcastic and laid back. He enjoys playing the role of the funny friend, but when he is exhausted in any way he is just a bit of a sarcastic asshole. He doesn't care what comes next for him as long as he has a stable life in the current moment.
