Storm of Thorns
Project Overview
Storm of Thorns is a work in progress animation series inspired by dungeons and dragons. It follows two groups led by the main characters Faust Violetweather and Addeline Rose. We get to see them grow into themselves as they make their way back to each other. All primary characters stories are also explored, including found family, enemies to lovers, queer experiences, childhood friends, adoption, abandonment, and much much more!
This project is currently unpaid and voluntary until we can hopefully gain crowd funding after the trailer/proof of concept is completed.

Thatcher Waltz is a 30 y/o trans man. Tho he is trans he has a pretty effeminate style still. He’s is Indian coded, this does not mean he needs a stereotypical Indian accent. Id like to cast an Indian VA for this role, but I am open to hear anyone’s auditions as I do have a voice claim for him.
A primary voice claim I have for him is Shigure Sohma from Fruits Basket 2019 ver. where hes pretty care free and seems a bit self centered, tho when he's serious or showing that he really cares, his voice softens and becomes a bit deeper.

Mirada Violetweather is the mother of Faust. She is very quiet and keeps to herself. She has an overflowing love for her children, and absolute distain for her husband that she cannot leave for her children's sake. She helps motivate in moments of vulnerability with multiple characters with her soft voice and wisdom.

Donny is a martial artist teifling who plays at one of the groups parental friend. They are non-binary and in their early to mid 30s. They don’t speak to often, but you know they are serious when they actually have something to say!

Aisling is the second second youngest god in the SoT series. He’s actually a prophetic Demi-God born from the Goddess of fear and an unknown mortal. He can be seen in two forms, his mortal disguise form and his devine form. He most seen in his disguise form tho, which looks, acts, and sounds like a 10 10 year old boy, then his Devine form he looks around late teams young adult. Id say he probably has a more androgynous voice though.

Rue is the eldest of the Gods in the Storm of Thorns series. She is the eldest child of the Goddess of fear., and a Demi-Goddess of illusion. Rue is considered to be the “Never-aging Princess of Aircrest” for the fact that she has been the princess for 3 generations of kings now, but the current king, King Isaac, is the only one she’s considered her brother. She also is the captain of the royal guard, and is very stern with everyone, tho she is very kind to those she trusts and cares for too.
My primary accent claim for her is Daenerys/Khaleesi from game of thrones

(Unserious with a slight chuckle) “I wouldn’t take that to a jeweler, they’d have an aneurysm over that gem.”
(Stern) “If you two don’t get back to training, I will have you scrapping the stables for a week!”
Viktor Rose is the father of Addeline Rose. He’s got a pretty goofy personality, but is very caring and attentive if needed. He is also the captain of the ship that we see Faust Violetweather traveling on in the start of the series. I’ve got no voice claims or general idea for his voice, so have fun with it!!^^

Sonya Rose is the mother of Addeline Rose. She comes off almost like a military woman with how stern she speaks to people. She’s in her early to mid 40s And is head of the Rose family household

(40s, Stern) “Addeline! I will not have my daughter running off because she upset over a marriage. Get in this house now!”
(Sad and worried) “I don’t know what I’m going to do with that girl Viktor. With her defiance and your sister’s protests of me being in the family I don’t know how long we can stay afloat. (Pause) Why’d you have to leave us?”
Isaac, the current king of Aircrest. A very kind and compassionate man, mid 30s. Also a girl dad! Similar accent to that of Daenerys/kaahlisi from game of thrones, but male.

(Tired, but also teasing) “Rue, another request for your hand in marriage from the neighboring kingdom. They really are persistent aren’t they?”
(Relieved, thankful) “Thank you for your help, I wouldn’t have been able to handle that myself.”
(Talking with his daughter) “what you got their kiddo? Seraphina and Cosmo help you find that?”
Eden is Native American coded. She’s a forest elf and the wife of King Isaac of Aircrest. She has a very kind soft voice and is often seen caring for Her daughter and Seraphina. Accent similar to Daenery/kaahlisi from game of thrones.

“A copper for your thought sweetheart?”
(Suggesting) “she’s still young and won’t be able to get you back home, but she can get you to the port to catch your friend with the ship.”
