The final deadline for cast is May 14th.
Over May and June we will prepare for production and we will start production as soon as we get all cast and crew on board!
You are welcome to audition for both cast and crew (check my profile for the crew casting call) and multiple roles! Minimal experience is required, as long as you can compete the task at hand.
For Auditions: You don't need the best mic in the world but quality is a part of consideration! Please have minimal background noise. Please do two takes in an AABBCC format! In your audition please include the following! Your discord and if you would like to be considered as an extra OR for a role you didn't audition for. There are a ton of unnamed characters in SBR and I'd love to bring on as many people as possible!

Main Character
Johnny Joestar is the main character. He was a star jockey as a teen but lost popularity after becoming paralyzed. He is often shy and reactive.
This ability has far surpassed a simple nail… it’s a Tusk. From now on I will call this Tusk.

Main Character
Gyro is here from Italy and becomes Johnny's main friend. He is blunt and very humorous. His character arc is based on protecting an innocent kid and having a strong sense of justice.
This spinning steel is definitely my weapon.
Whatever I can get, I'll take. Except for diseases... but especially a time bonus... nyo ho!

Main Villain
Funny Valentine is the current US president and the main antagonist of SBR. He is cold, calculated, and confident. He is married to Scarlett Valentine and pursuing Lucy Steel

Main Villain
Diego is from a poor British background (accent is not required.) Diego is one of Johnny's main competitors in the race. Despite his poor origin, he has become one of the best jockeys in Britain. He is very cocky and skilled.

Major Ally
Hot Pants is an ex nun who choses to participate in the race to avenge her past. She has major role in the ending of SBR. She is quiet and stand offish in the beginning but eventually comes around.

Minor Ally
Mountain Tim is a minor ally and a purser of Lucy Steel. He is, by best definition, a cowboy. He is a rancher from Montana and considered one of the top contestants for the race. For his accent, I'd prefer it on the lighter side and not forced. He is from Montana- Keep that in mind.
Under the law of the United States and Arizona territory, I've been commissioned as an assistant sheriff. I'm placing you under arrest for the murders of three race contestants.
I dropped out of the race in the 2nd stage due to my injuries from Oyecomova’s bombs. But I consider myself lucky… because I was able to hold you in my arms like this…

Ally
Stephen Steel is the coordinator of the Steel Ball Run and the Husband of Lucy Steel. He is a middle aged man (40/50's) and a bit off a cry baby. He does his best to put on an act for his employees and press but often cries to his wife about the stress.
There is no such thing as failure in this race! There are only adventurers! This Steel Ball Run race will be an event the likes of which the world has never experienced before!
Lucy… as long as you’re here beside me… I’m content with leading an ordinary life. I don’t need anything else.
What the President wanted… the right to being fortunate even if the law of the napkin is within the Corpse. I think that after all, the only thing that can decide that is the will of God.
Deuteragonist
Wekapipo is a side villain turned ally who appears near the end of SBR. Wekapipo is cold, stern, and serious. This contrasts with his partner Magenta Magenta.
If things were so convenient, then anyone could be standing where we are now.
The Zeppelis... The strength of their Steel Balls is the use of the golden rectangle. We must surpass that power!

Poco Loco is a surprising candidate for the Steel Ball Run due to his stand. He is a minor character with little story arc, but is the winner of the SBR. He is very fun and care free.
I have that "1 out of 5,000,000,000 good luck"... I'll believe in that... I came to San Diego believing that... If I was wrong, it's all over right here... I'm gonna win it.
Is that all you can do? I proclaim, once I pass you, you will never be able to take the lead from me, Pocoloco.

Sandman is an indigenous man from Arizona. He is participating in the SBR to win the prize money and rather then going on horse back, he is running by foot. Sandman is (mostly) a neutral until the end. He isn't very talkative and is a minor character in later parts of the book but plays a big role in the beginning.
The white man is the enemy. But, protecting yourself by understanding the enemy's culture is another way. Our tribe's way of thinking won't work in these times.
Winning the race and getting money is desirable... but taking your Corpse Parts would be faster. The Spine, the left arm, the right eye...

Scarlett is the first lady and the wife of Funny Valentine. She is a very minor role but is a notable character due to the heavy implication of her being queer and attracted to Lucy Steel.

Yeah- It is biblical Jesus- Just know that he is a minor character and just shows up as a "vision" rather than a genuine character.

Sugar Mountain is a very minor character. She is a young girl (Elementary/Middle School) who was put in charge of guarding a tree. She poses a challenge for Johnny and Gyro to prove themselves.

Blackmore is a very minor character. He serves as an assassin loyal to Funny Valentine himself. This makes him a bit cruel and directly apposes Johnny Joestar.
I will corner the intruder from outside the window, so that he won’t be able to escape from anywhere in the building. Let us find Ringo’s information.
My ability’s name is Catch the Rainbow. The raindrops I touch, I can stabilize in the air. Just like crossing a rainbow, or walking on a glass board.

Mike O is a minor character. He is one of Funny Valentine's henchman and is harsh and serious.

My Tubular Bells will serve not only as my defensive tactic. But they have sentenced you to a world of death by guillotine!

Side Villain
Ringo developed a love for dueling, and uses his stand to trap SBR participants in an area and requires them to duel him. This poses trouble for Hot Pants, Gyro, and Johnny at the beginning of the race. Ringo is an older gentleman and is a bit blunt.
If you want to get out of here… you must kill me. That is the path that is to be taken.
If we were to engage in a shootout, now… If, of course…. You wouldn’t be able to defeat me. The gentleman on the left stands a chance. So you, kindly step back.

Side Villain
Pork Pie Hat Kid is a young boy who quickly battle Johnny at the start of SBR. He is a bit odd and out of it, definitely a wild child. (Yes the lines are written like that-)
The corpse is in Jyawnee Jyawshter’s arm! And so! I’ve finished looking for it! Now I have to swipe it from him! After I kill him, though!

Oyecomova was commissioned to kill Gyro Zeppeli. He is a bit of an odd and disturbing individual and has no problem with murder. He takes his job seriously.
I won't allow anyone to race for the King of Naples! I will have you dead, officer Gyro Zeppeli!
My skills with explosives became a special ability... I take this as a mission from God!

Benjamin is the father of the BoomBoom family. The BoomBoom family joined the race and are willing to kill to get ahead.

LAis the youngest son of the BoomBoom family. The BoomBoom family joined the race and are willing to kill to get ahead.
Our mom was a stork, right? Big brother said do. Our mom was a stork! Do I look like a stork?
1st place is Dad. 2nd place is brother Andre. 3rd place is me. If we do a 1-2-3 finish... the total prize money will be big! It'll be big when you add them all up!!

Von Stroheim is a contestant from Germany and is cold and aggressive. Unlike his part 2 counterpart he is quick to pull a gun on Johnny and Gyro.
The Spin of the Steel Balls. It has the power to carve things and control certain muscles.
Side Villain
Axl Ro feels a need to purify himself of sins. His overly guilty consciousness is clear and is due to his time in the military. Axl Ro is a fair man who fights fairly, he is just attempting to rid his sins.

A Stand battle requires a degree of fairness, even if that means you have to to divulge your weakness.

Side Villain
Magenta Magenta is Funny Valentin’s henchman and is partnered to work with Wekapipo. He is often joking and chatting which annoys Wekapipo. The final straw in their alliance is when Wekapipo leaves him.
Wekapipo ! I thought I’d find you eventually if I kept on tracking Steel… I purposefully didn’t hit you right in the vitals!
Once I decide to take revenge, I always take revenge.
That’s for treating people like me like shit! Looks like I’m gonna have to teach you that people who don’t have anything to lose are the scariest types, Mr. Smartass!
Side Villain
Dr. Ferdinand is a geologist and a paleontologist with a very flamboyant personality. Over anything else, he values respect. We especially see this in his senseless anger over disrespect to the Earth.
Go and fight them! Eventually I'll get there... and cut your throats open!
Do you know why the dinosaurs perished when they were prospering on this Earth? It’s because they were idiots who didn’t understand the concept of respect! They didn't respect the earth!
